Hi, My name is John. I helped out today at Wings Over the Rockies as a black stormtrooper. I met alot of great people and had a good time helping out. I live in Colorado Springs and have been into sci-fi as long as I can remember. I am 42 and I am into Star Wars ,Star Trek, Buffy the Vampire slayer,Battlestar Galactica new and old, Firefly and Serenity, Aliens and some of my other interests are Camping, fishing, Riding Atv's and Cruising motorcycles and restoring classic cars and enjoying a get together with friends and family.

Awesome, John! Welcome to the group. Thanks for lending a hand today.
What kind of classic car projects have you got going? I'm (slowly) working on restoring a classic GM A-body Cutlass. Right now, I have #6 Olds 350 small block heads, and an Edelbrock intake (with various parts) here, and a Chevy 2.73 posi in Pottstown, PA, that just hasn't made the migration yet.

One of my recent project cars was a 69 fastback mustang. I ended up selling it because it was sopposed to be my daughters high school graduation present but ended up being nothing but a money pit. So I got her a 89 RS Camaro instead and put Centerlines on it plus some airshocks and gave it an "Old School" look with p295-50's on the back and 60's on the front, turbo exhaust. It wasnt the 69 fastback but she could actually drive it.Anyways thanks for the welcome and I hope to meet more of the RMFF soon.

I should put you in touch with Dana... He's another guy who rebuilds/restores cars like that. I want to say his last project was a Charger, but I know I'm getting that wrong. Which reminds me, I should drop him a line again.

Hey guys. Just wanted to let ya know the Harry Potter party my Mom is throwing will be at the Willows Apartment clubhouse, July 20th, 8PM. It's at Jewell and Kipling. Activities haven't been decided yet, but I assume we're going to the bookstore afterwards for the midnight release of book 7. Dajuan and I will be there that night. Hope to see you there!

My mom has made up flyers, and will be sending them off soon. I will let you all know what the plans are. So far, she told me she wants to split people into houses. HP Scene it will be one of the games, and there will be a broomstick decorating contest. I'll let you all know more when I do.

Hello all!
Let me introduce myself to the boards :-) Some of you might know me as Linda, or Jonathan's voice of reason (in nagging tone). But now you can also know me as FanForced. Now, don't get me wrong, I loved the original Star Wars. I have a thing for Harrison Ford, um, pre-got-old. And I whole-heartedly enjoy movies with junior high flirting/insults a la Pricess Leah and Han Solo. And who doesn't crack themselves up trying to sound like Chewie? But I married into the force and kinda enjoy waiting in line for hours to see a movie, kinda, when I'm drunk. For my non-Star Wars hobbies I enjoy laughing when my dogs sleep upside down, and reading books about home projects I'll never do. See ya at the BBQ!
