SW Related Interests: I prefer the original trilogy. The new stuff is fun, but not as good as the original. I have thought about doing a Jedi costume before, but just have never gotten around to it. I just love Star Wars!!
Non-SW Related Interests: Gosh, I have so many. I love my two cats, I love animals. I love to watch Dancing with the Stars and American Idol, they are great shows. Of course Oprah is fun to watch too. I like to read books, and walk around Pearl Street Mall in Boulder when I get the opprotunity. I just love life  !!

Howdy! I just got hired at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, CO and am finally close to an active FF group so I'm introducing myself. I do not know when exactly I'm heading there, but for sure I'll be moved in sometime in July.

SW Related Interests: I read the EU books and comics. Corran Horn and Cade Skywalker are my favs. 
Non-SW Related Interests: Horse riding, going out, hanging out, LOST, Pushing Daisies, swimming
How did you get started on SW: I've always been a movie fan and used to fall asleep to one of the films nightly for as long as I can remember. I grew up reading the kiddie horse series and needed something more adult. Mom noticed the TTT in the bookstore as well as an X-wing book. After reading the X-wing book and falling madly in love with Corran Horn I became completely hooked on the EU. 100-and some books later and I'm still loving every minute of it!
How did you find this board? A google search. I was reading Outbound Flight and it was nothing like I expected. I had thought the flight was something different and got really really confused after I read the book. So I googled it and the Lit thread popped up leading me to the JC. Harpuah linked me to this board once she found out I was moving to CO.

We've got a big event coming up in August, and that's a great way to introduce yourself to the group.

Hello, I'm new on here and just wanted to be sociable.
Name: Andrew
Age: 30-something
SW Related Interests: Pretty much everything, starting with the movies. Also read a lot of the books (Legacy Of The Force and anything Zahn, Traviss, or Luceno are my favorites), just got into the comics (so far I like Legacy, Boba Fett, and Infinities), been collecting the toys on and off for a looong time. Used to play the original Role Playing Game in the 80s. Oh, and the only video games I will play are Star Wars games, especially Galactic Battlegrounds. Never been to a convention or any kind of fan meeting, but I'd like to check it out. Closest I have come is the line at any given Star Wars movie.
Non-SW Related Interests: I'm semi-professional musician (drummer) in a punk/alternative band. I spend a lot of my time doing that, playing shows around locally and on the road. I'm married, so I find my wife quite interesting. Obviously into music (especially metal) and also into Lost, Battlestar, & Lord Of The Rings.
How did you get started on SW: I actually have no recollection of a time when Star Wars wasn't part of my life. It's become a pseudo-religious thing for me. My parents say that I saw Star Wars from the womb and that it was also the first movie I ever saw in the theater on one of its re-releases.
How did you find this board? Just looking for other Star Wars fans and I'm on TheForce.net pretty much every day so I thought I'd try it out.
