it's actually HOT outside now. Unfortunately the time it takes me to drive to pick up the kid isn't enough time for my wimpy a/c to kick in, so we are all hot and sticky now.

Yeah, and to think that I had plans to stain the fence this weekend. Oh well.
At least I got all the sprinklers repaired, including the ones owned by the city (oops). Maybe I can re-seed everything over the next couple of days so the week of rain we're supposed to get will get put to good use.

Crazy. I just heard that there was a lot of damage, and a couple of the highways out that way are really backed up. No severe injuries, except for one guy who got a laceration on his hand.
It's so weird, because out here in Arvada, the sky is really blue with a couple of fluffy clouds. It was hailing earlier, but nothing larger than pea-sized. And we were under a tornado watch for a while. That never happens in Jefferson County!
