So I was doing my annual renewal of insider and hyperspace, and it turns out if you renew or sign up for insider they're giving out free scaled lightsaber replicas. anyhow, it looked like you needed a new subscription, but I called them up and asked and they said you can get it if you renew as well.
so here's the link. I think if you're renewing you actually have to call them though.

I wasn't going to renew (I only renewed this last time because I thought I'd be going to CIV and wanted that extra day)... but now I'm kinda wondering if there might be something worth it with the theatrical release, clone wars cartoon, and eventual live action tv series coming up.

umm.. well I don't know for sure. All I know is that I called, asked about the promotion while renewing, and got it. I just would feel bad if you renewed online and didn't get a free lightsaber! :P

Includes interviews with David Prowse and Ben Burtt, who did the sound effects.

There is an excellent article on StarWars.com comparing the visual and dynamic differences between the adaptation of the OT in US comics vs. the Japanese manga adaptation. My favorites are Leia strangling Jabba and Vader giving the Emperor the shaft.
It's not Hyperspace content, so check it out here.

What's scary is that the math works out. I'm tempted to get this, but I don't really wear t-shirts.
