She is very odd, but funny!

I was working on my laptop the other night, and the Bean wanted to hang out with me in my room...so I thought, okay. I opened up my tote of 12" action figures and let her play with them. She had a great time asking me, "Who dis?" and "Dis one make noise?". I was kinda wrapped up in my homework, so I decided to put on ANH and let her watch it. I watched with her for a few minutes, and then went back to my homework. Every once in a while she would ask me a question..."Who dat?" "Thats Obi Wan Kenobi." "oh, obi-obi-obi." Fun-ny. laugh

About halfway through the movie she starts telling me, "Dulie scared." I looked up at the tv and saw that it was the trash compactor scene. I told her it would be okay, they wouldnt get squished, shush and watch the movie. I turned back to my laptop and she starts screaming at the top of her lungs, "Alligator! Alligator! BIG EYE!! Gets him! Dulie Scared!"

It took me a few minutes to realize what the frell she was talking about, but then I jumped up and ran over to her. She clung to me, and asked me to turn off "DarDoors." I obliged. Unfortunately she had nightmares that night and I ended up with a baby in my bed. rolling_eyes

We have a drive on our network that keeps crashing fatally, but this time when they restored it, they renamed it "R2D2 on Deathstar"

Found a "Star Wars" reference in a book I started reading, Supernatural: Nevermore by Keith R.A. DeCandido (based of the television show "Supernatural"; normally I'm not a big TV tie-in novel reader, but I love "Supernatural"):

"...It'd be like investigating something on the Skywalker Ranch and saying we were with Star Wars Insider. They'd know we were bogus right off." -- Dean Winchester

From TheForce.net:

Celebrate the 25th anniversary of Return of the Jedi with a musical tribute to the furry little creatures who helped save the day, the Ewoks. Click here for the funny video which features a sweet cameo by Mr. Billy Dee Williams.

Hilarious! Billy Dee's preaching was the best part.

Dark Side of the Death Star (or How I Wasted Eleven Months of My Life)

Like any other urban legend-obsessed member of Generation Y, I was quite intrigued by this "Dark Side of the Rainbow" business...Whoa, wait a minute—I bet that one White Zombie album totally synchs up with Star Wars!

White Zombie’s landmark 1992 album La Sexorcisto: Devil Music, Vol. 1 certainly seemed like the type of sample-heavy rock freak-out that White Zombie: Le Sexorcisto: Devil Music, Vol 1 would align perfectly with a wild, outer space adventure starring Mark Hamill. Also, I figured it would be pretty cool watching Darth Vader parade around to all those bad-ass metal riffs.

Read more here.
