There's a special titled Behind the Mythology of Stargate SG-1, airing right before the new episodes tonight.

Tonight is the final episode of SG-1.
There are still the movies coming up, but it's just not the same. JD lent me the dvds back in '03, and ever since then there was always new SG-1 to look forward to, for 20wks out of the year at least. I'd write something about how much I liked the show and what it meant to me, but it would just end up sounding maudlin and not eloquent enough.

It's a great episode.
It totally sucks that the final season finally started to get really good after the show had already been canceled

Episode was OK. I guess. It felt a bit rushed and anticlimactic, though. It was like, "Oh hey! We did this! Oh, but then we did that. And then, oh yeah, we did this one last thing. Okthanxbye."

Haha, Meredith and his sister bickering about Meredith's (Rodney) sense of direction. "You got us lost in the West Edmonton mall and dad had to call the police!" "That mall is huge!" "There are maps every seven meters!"
All I could do was chuckle and say, "Heh, West Edmonton mall..." Yes, I was there. Yes, the place is huge. It's got a pretty old layout to it, as well. It's got an ice skating rink in the middle of it and hockey games are played there occasionally. It just struck me that mentioning that mall was funnier to me than the actual punch line...

Cute episode.
I can't believe we're already coming up on the halfway point. Has it really been that many episodes?
