So, we finally picked up "Stargate: The Ark of Truth" and watched it tonight.
It happily wraps up SG-1 Seasons 9 and 10. I will rest well tonight.
Oh, and it kicked butt.

Aurgh! Costco, how you failed me! I stopped by Tues night, made a beeline for the DVD section... and found no Ark of Truth. Seasons 1-10, yes, but no newly released movie. Feh.  Haven't had a chance to look again since then. I can only hope to find it either there or maybe walmart today, and finally get to watch it tonight.

What's the deal with that? Is it some kind of conspiracy??  (But seriously, the future of more SG-1 movies depends on this selling well; how can it sell well if it isn't available anywhere? Was it just sold out early, or did most places never get it?)
I'm off to another costco today, and if that fails, walmart. If even walmart doesn't have it, then there's a best buy near my house.

I got our copy at Barnes & Noble, the one by Aurora Town Center was sold out but expecting more when I was looking for it Tuesday and I found it at the one at Southlands.

Ah, I hadn't checked Barnes and Nobel. But yeah... no luck at Costco, I had them check their computer and it wasn't in the system anywhere. Walmart didn't have it. I finally found a copy at Best Buy. RDT, I'd hoped your difficulties were a P-Town thing, but no such luck.
Anyway, yay Stargate tonight!

Ark Soundtrack Drops In April
FreeClyde Music announced a limited release of the soundtrack to Stargate: The Ark of Truth, the straight-to-DVD movie based on SCI FI Channel's original series Stargate SG-1, featuring music by the show's longtime composer Joel Goldsmith. The CD drops on April 18, but can be pre-ordered online.
The CD features music recorded live with the Seattle Northwest Sinfonia and includes a 16-page full-color booklet with articles by Ark of Truth writer/director Robert C. Cooper, executive producer Brad Wright and Goldsmith. The CD will also feature original artwork by the FreeClyde team and photography from the film.
The first 100 pre-orders will be signed by the composer. The CD can be purchased at Goldsmith's official Web site.

Stargate Continuum July 29 - spoilers in second half of the article, but the first half is safe.
(Ok, I'm such a geek. First thought on learning that the trailer would be available soon? "Yay, costume research!"  )
