Wow, way to go, Denver! I guess the Lo Do revitalization really worked, huh?

Springs is sitting at 98 right now, too. Wait until those additional 50k military personnel are moved there, and they'll easily pass Denver.

drunkest cities
I find it amusing that the only two states I've lived in have the top three cities.
So, I'll be moving from one of the least drunk cities in the U.S. to the DRUNKEST city in the U.S.
Sweet.
Pass me a cold one.

I'd have pegged Fresno to be higher than that. What with, y'know, vineyards and all. Guess I was wrong. Omaha and Milwaukee I can totally see though. What else is there to do there?

I'd be inclined to ask if the rest of Wyoming is reporting any data... y'know since bars outnumber churches in almost every town and we still have drive thru liquor stores.
I heard tell (though it's an urban legend with no proof I can find) that the University of Wyoming was Playboy's #1 party school for 30 years, until they stopped ranking professionals.

There is a list, but.... It was only released twice and Wyoming wasn't on it. I heard them say the same story about Penn State, but it's just not true. http://www.snopes.com/college/admin/playboy.asp
Also, I heard our library was sinking because the architect forgot to factor in the weight of the books--that's not true, either.

There aren't enough people in Wyoming to make the list. Seriously, when the biggest town in the state changes for Cowboy home games in Laramie...you ain't gettin' on many lists.

The computer allows you to make mistakes faster than any other invention, with the possible exception of handguns and tequila. 2K Miles, 2 planes, a drive & a box of Ducks... to watch TV at the beach? Oh yeah... Totally crazy!

true true.. we just passed 500,000 in the 2000 census finally... with 200,000 in cheyenne and 150,000 in casper I think.. the other 150,000 people are scattered over the remaining 90,000 square miles. If we count the cows we'd break a couple million, I read somewhere there are 3 cows for every person in the state.

Sounds like a good place to get some land to bug out to when the inevitable zombie invasion happens.

Aw Hell. You'd think Lovecraft's mad scribblings would be required reading for anyone going to Antarctica. Not as light reading material for the trip down, but as a warning for all who cross its borders.
Giant marine life found in Antarctic.
"Scientists who conducted the most comprehensive survey to date of New Zealand's Antarctic waters were surprised by the size of some specimens found, including jellyfish with 12-foot tentacles and 2-foot-wide starfish."
How much longer til they awake the dead-but-dreaming one!? I must get down there!
