I ran across some pics of the new costumes here.

I'll say this: I would MUCH rather go with the old skool 80s action figure look than this.

I'm pretty sure he'd be up for it. I'll try to get ahold of him tonight.

I've seen a couple of Destros that were done with latex apps on their faces so they could still talk, but I think a Fantastic 4 Dr. Doom movie style with hard pieces would be badass.

I don't care much for the black combat gear, but the camo isn't too bad, particularly since I don't think I've seen any Joe wear a standard pattern.

In fact I was thinking these might work for us: Pacific Camo BDU Pants

Or these: Dutch Military Camo BDU Pants

I can also highly recommend VT Army navy Surplus.

I have purchased both the grey swat BDUs for the RFT and a full Multicam Kit from them. great prices!!!

And they have a good supply of vintage looking items.

OutInStyle.com would be another good source, and they have some stylized versions, too.

And there's always Sportsman's Guide

HobbyTron has some good prices on Airsoft guns. And a decent selection too.

Edit:

Oh, and here's the picture I'm copying my Zarana off of.

That'd be SWEEET if Chico did Storm Shadow.
And I totally agree with the Dr. Doom style Destro over the latex/moveable version.

With all the different versions of Snake Eyes, I have some decisions to make. Right now, I think Im gonna pick the mask I like best and do whatever costume went with it. They all share some type of black ninja/flight suit, but the mask goes from old school goggles to the Jordy LaForge(sp?) face wrap.

Hhmmmmm....... ideas? suggestions?

(btw, anybody got swords?)

they are pretty cheep on ebay. i wouldnt go fighting cobra with them or anything but they look nice

so a hard mask over a latex one? it would be a full head shell. its gonna have to be big either way so when i sculpt it i will try not to destroy it so in case i want to try both versions i can

i would be willing to shave my sweet chest rug off for this

lets see, my schedule for the next year is gonna be work out, sculpt, work out, sculpt, work out, sculpt, work out, sculpt, rinse and repeat
