oh, and I am not wearing the hat. There are versions of her with slightly longer hair...my plan is to take in a pic before the con and have them match it. I am going all out for this one.
So... No looking to get that insignia for you? Roger that... But you will still need some wings. happy

Lady Jaye also has what I believe is an airborne patch on her left shoulder on many of her action figures...looks like a parachute? Can just anybody buy those?

Point me at picture and I can get the right one... Even if it's out of print/use

Just in case... This is the one on her hat grin

Check...I printed that stuff out. And I think your idea of modifying a toy uzi with a scope is a workable plan.

Okay... This is the current incarnation of that patch. But I will keep lookng for the previous one. grin

NOTE: They modified patches so that they rarely matched exactly to skirt around certain impersonation/copyright stuff... That's a SOCOM unit insignia. So, we can either make one to match exactly, or go with the military equivalent.

What are the fanboys opinions on this...do we make patches or go with current military equivalents...also, do any other characters wear the same patch...if so, making them might be the way to go.

Alot of the characters wear the Parachustist badge, which is what lady jaye wears on her hat. If you are going hatless, which is how she went in the cartoon, then it is probably not needed.

One neat idea would be to put the last name of the characters on patches over the left chest pocket. Instead of 'Lady-Jaye' it would read 'Hart-Burnett'

I still have to get my head around how to do Flash's padded armor. I am thinking going all out with quilted vinyl stitched into squares. I would need alot of help to pull that off though.

After thinking on it, I might do the hat...but reserve the right to not always wear it. wink

I am really getting excited about this. I am going to try and finish the costume (within reason) this summer, because next semester will be awful for me...hence the haste for me to figure stuff out.
