The problem for any women who might still want to join in is that there are not alot of female characters in GI Joe. In fact, two of the ones taken I have never even heard of (must be newer or from the DD series).
One I can think of from the original Marvel series is Rip-Cord's girlfriend Candi Appel, or Bongo the Balloon Bear as she first appeared. She was in the series for about 6 issues, and in the end discovered her father was a secret Cobra agent and then she was kidnapped and killed by Zartan.
It would be a pretty cute costume - Basically a blonde in a bearsuit, carrying balloons. I wish I had a picture handy to post.
Any other ideas?

The computer allows you to make mistakes faster than any other invention, with the possible exception of handguns and tequila. 2K Miles, 2 planes, a drive & a box of Ducks... to watch TV at the beach? Oh yeah... Totally crazy!

ooooh, can I do two costumes? To be in true balance one must embrace both good and evil, right?

I'm up for helping with the mold too DH. Let me know when you want to do it (maybe a little in advance) and I'll be there! I really want to learn how to do that!

This looks so exciting. I have been to Starfest once a few years back, it was so fun. It will be neat to see what all the costumes look like. I remember I had a GI Joe back in the day that had Kung Fu Grip.
Maybe next time you guys can do another group projec like He-Man or Power Rangers. Those would be really neat too.

Just thought I'd share this...
In a strip mall near my parents' house in Wake Forrest, there is a store called "GI Joe's Army Surplus". I wanted to go check it out, but we didn't have time.

LOL Ok I'm game Couple of questions (1) Are we doing old school Joe or any variation? And do I REALLY have to use fake weapons? LOL And I have another one of my guys who has a pretty good Beachhead costume going. So yes it is Official I have reposted back with my OG's!!!

My personal opinion is that as long as it's recognizable as the character... It's gonna be cool But I do think everyone should agree on the representations. Like, "Hey, I want to do this version of Destro, is that cool?" and post a picture
Now, I'll go back to basking in your awesomeness.

I need help finding more pictures of my character. I have searched nerd-dom and through some miracle found a list of comics that Lady Jaye is in...but here's the problem...I am a comic book noob, and every time I try to search for a particular issue per my list I get a bunch of crap that I cannot decipher. I don't have time to learn the "ways of the comics", please help!!! Crash course? Should I just go into my local comic shop and hand them my list?
