Discovery of the Sith

this is a little film project i'm doing over the summer, it take place right before episode 1. and i would like to discuss more about it at the meeting on the 25th. but i need help with things like tusken costumes and props. i'll post teh script tomorrow when i get done with it. but feel free to ask questions.

EXT. SPACE
A vast sea of stars serves as the backdrop for the main title. War drums echo through the heavens as a rollup slowly crawls into infinity.
SUPER
STAR WARS
Discovery of the Sith
For many generations the Jedi Knights have been the guardians of peace and justice in the galaxy, fighting battles against evil and the Sith.
Sith activity has been extinct for nearly a millennia after the Sith War fought by Knights of the Republic.
Now on an artifact retrieval mission, Kalon Riker and Zane Strife, Jedi Knights, have found the final resting place of a Sith Holocron but know not what awaits them…
The awesome yellow planet Tatooine emerges from beneath us preceded by twin glaring suns. A black ship flies toward the planet.
EXT. DUNE SEA – NIGHT
Two men, KALON RIKER, a young Jedi dressed in black robes with long brown hair, and ZANE STRIFE, dressed almost the same but with short black hair and beard, sleep next to a burnt out fire.
THREE TUSKEN RAIDERS, dressed in tan burlap with spike helmets, carrying assorted weapons emerge on the horizon.
EXT. DUNE SEA – LATER
The two Jedi wake up dazed and beaten. The Tuskens sleep soundly as the Jedi struggle in their bindings. Kalon notices his lightsaber lying next to one of the Tuskens. He uses the force to grab it.
The lightsaber tugs on the Tuskens robes and wakes him up. He calls and his friends wake up. Kalon cuts himself loose, Zane rolls over and Kalon cuts his bindings.
Tusken 1 smashes Kalon in the side of his head with the butt of his rifle and fires at Zane who rolls away. Tusken 2 and 3 grab their Gaffi Sticks. They both attack Zane, who dodges.
Kalon gets up and cuts the barrel off of the rifle and force pushes Tusken 1 back. Kalon runs towards him, but Tusken 1 kicks him in the chest knocking him back.
Zane uses the force to grab his lightsaber, and ignites it. Tusken 2 tries to block upward with his Gaffi Stick. Zanes lightsaber cuts through it and he cuts Tusken 2 in half. While Tusken 3 hits him in the back, sending his lightsaber away from him.
Tusken 1 gets up and swings his Gaffi Stick; Kalon cuts it in two and trips him, a flash of gold and silver flies out of his robes. Kalon stabs him in the chest, killing him.
Tusken 3 is attacking Zane, who is rolling away to grab his lightsaber, Kalon runs over to Tusken 3. Zane grabs his lightsaber.
KALON
Hey you, ugly.
Tusken 3 turns to look at Kalon who smashes his helmet with his lightsaber hilt. Tusken 3 hits the ground. Zane and Kalon stab him in the back with their blades as the Tusken lets out a dying scream.
A dark robed DARTH MAUL watches by a near by dune
Kalon and Zane go back to Tusken 1’s body.
KALON
This fell off of him.
ZANE
What is it?
KALON
Republic holorecorder.
Kalon turns on the device and a transparent blue-cloaked figure emanates from it. It is DARTH SIDEOUS.
DARTH SIDEOUS
Find the Jedi and kill them. I will reward your people handsomely; my apprentice will be there for that.
Darth Maul sneaks down and leaves.
Kalon and Zane look up at each other and around.
ZANE
Lets get out here we’ve wasted enough time and we know where the Holocron is.
KALON
Good idea.
The two Jedi leave down one of the dunes.
EXT. SPACE
Above Tatooine a large gray, blue, and black ship races away and jumps into hyperspace.
EXT. SPACE
The bright green and yellow planet, Thakron VII, is between night and day and emerges from below us. A dark ship flies over us, its engines glow red, as it flies down to the planet.
EXT. FOREST 1 – NIGHT
In a Coniferous forest, sitting around a campfire Kalon and Zane look up into the starry sky to see a red star shoot across the sky.
KALON
How much further until we reach the ruins?
Zane pulls a small device from his utility belt and activates it.
ZANE
Another days walking, maybe two.
KALON
You sounded so certain there. I don’t like that tone.
ZANE
You’re not going to like it Kal.
KALON
What, why?
ZANE
Desert terrain.
KALON
I wish we could have had a ship; even a speeder would have been fine.
ZANE
I know, after this I’ll be glad for a bit of leave time at the temple.
KALON
Mmmmm real food, company, and relaxation.
ZANE
And on that note I’m going to sleep we’ll need it.
Zane and Kalon slip into sleeping bags.
KALON
Good night.
ZANE
Same to you.
The campfire dims as the two fall asleep under the stars.
EXT. FOREST 2 – NIGHT
A high rock cliff borders a coniferous forest. Darth Maul jumps off of the cliff and lands near a boulder. He takes off his hood and pulls out a holorecorder. The holographic image of Darth Sideous appears.
DARTH SIDEOUS
Have you dispatched the Jedi?
DARTH MAUL
Not yet, they are here on Thakron VII seeking the holocrons, they will find it for us.
DARTH SIDEOUS
Good, after you have destroyed the Jedi, I will need you here to help resolve matters with the Trade Federation.
DARTH MAUL
Yes master.
Darth Maul deactivates the device, replaces his hood and moves into the trees and disappears.
EXT. FOREST 3 – DAY
Kalon and Zane walk through the trees.
KALON
What do you sense?
ZANE
Well, it’s close; I can sense the dark side aura of this place.
KALON
Good, I thought I was going crazy.
They stop walking and look around.
ZANE
Aren’t there supposed to be ruins here?
KALON
Well, I can only assume they were abandoned during the war, and nature…
ZANE
Shh!
KALON
What…
ZANE
(whispering)
A spike in the aura.
The two Jedi turn around as Darth Maul jumps from the trees. Quickly they take off their cloaks and ignite their lightsabers.
ZANE
Go, alert the council.
KALON
No signal remember.
ZANE
Damn it.
They fight. The fighting style is very fast. Darth Maul uses two lightsabers. The Jedi destroy his blades. The Jedi flank him and charge.
Darth Maul feints and Zane accidentally stabs Kalon in the heart. Darth Maul runs off, grabbing Kalons lightsaber with the force.
Zane sees that Kalon is already dead and charges in rage after Darth Maul and trips him with the force.
They fight. Zane destroys Kalons lightsaber. Darth Maul punches Zane in the stomach and the face and kicks the lightsaber out of Zanes hands. Zane falls.
Darth Maul catches the lightsaber. Zane kneels. Darth Maul stabs him in the shoulder. Zane screams in pain. Darth Maul force chokes him and tosses him away and leaves the lightsaber. Darth Maul grabs his cloak and leaves.
EXT. SPACE
Over the planet Thakron VII the black ship flies from the planet, towards us and over us.
FADE OUT:

Who is paying for all the cut in half gaffi sticks & riffles???
Sounds cool dude, I will be more then happy to give you the floor for a few minutes so you can get names and numbers of the people that want to help with this and for you to lay out the timeframes & such.

yeah that would be awesome please but i would acually only need 1 gaffi stick to cut and a riffle but i'll pay for them but i would like to discuss that too at the meeting.

ba hahahahahahahahaaaa!!! lol i remember that but yeah its more the fact that its easier to get tuskens in colorado with the sand dunes and all than it is to get gungans or ewoks

I have a palpy latex mask and black cape (thanks to the rmff folks )....the mask is just that, latex, but might do for a passing shot or two. Not sure if I can donate any time, but certainly willing to pass on the mask and such for a bit. Just give a shout.
