What is it with hospitals these days, sheesh. I think just about everyone I know (including me) who has had a c-section got an infection. 
Least they give you good narcotics.

Thank you all for the good thoughts. I really do think that it helped out. This has probably been the best and worst week of my life. Everything is looking wonderful now that we have been home for two days. There is a lot to get adjusted to, Courtney and Abby are doing wonderful, it is just rough getting used to the lack of sleep thing.
I will post pics and the entire story on what happened in a few days when I have gotten some rest.
Once again tanks for all the good thoughts.

Based on my experience from the past 11 days, value the sleep you get now as the days of lack of sleep stack up, you will go progressively more crazy. If you think you'll get more sleep as time goes on, you're fooling yourself, brother.

unless you get lucky and have awesome kids like I did somehow. They slept through the night almost from the beginning. We actually had to wake them up to eat. Yes, I'm rubbing it in. 
Give it a few months, then she'll at least be on a somewhat schedule. And then teething starts. 
Best advice ever: If the baby is sleeping, take a nap too.

That aint no lie. Sad thing is that everyone will give you this same tidbit of advice...and you like all first time parents wont do it...and you will realize six months down the road how nice it was when they slept all day.
Hope you are settling in...oh, I almost forgot. When you start feeling like company and establish visiting hours, charge a toll of one precooked meal to get in the door.
They will all gladly pay.

Thank you everyone for your well wishes, as Shane posted we are finally home after quite a hectic time at the hospital. We are doing well, and happy to be home.
We went in on Friday the 16th, because I had high blood pressure, and they decided I needed to be induced. So after 15 hours of labor, I was at 9 cm and getting ready but Abigail’s heart rate dropped dramatically and I was rushed in for an emergency c-section. Abigail was doing fine her first couple of hours but they noticed her breathing was fast, and she had a low temperature. So they decided to monitor her overnight to be on the safe side and run a CBC. The next morning they ran another CBC and her white blood cells were elevated which can indicate an infection. With newborns they treat first and ask questions later because it can go from bad to worse so easily. She was set up on antibiotics, and oxygen, and blood cultures and a spinal tap were done. To make a VERY long story short, all tests came back negative with any bacterial growth; she came off the oxygen and is now at home doing great. I also developed an infection when I was there, which sucks but it let me have the ability to stay close to Abigail. I’m so happy to be home and Abigail is doing great!
