We had Abigail's 1 month appointment today, everything is going great! She weighs 7 lbs 6 oz, and is 21 inches long. Growing like a flower.
She also had to have the first of her Hep B vaccinations. Next time she has to have 4 shots, poor thing.

Well, Abby is becoming a problem child.
On Saturday morning we woke up and she had a bump on her head, it felt fluid filled. We were obviously very concerned and took her the doctor. The doctor was completely and totally puzzled and as she messed with it, it went away. She suggested we watch it over the weekend and see what happens, and to give her a call if it got bigger, harder or changed color. And everything was fine until Monday the dang thing was back so we went back to the doctor and she suggesting going to Children's for a CAT scan, just to be on the safe side. On Tuesday we went to Children's (which is huge and really nice by the way) got the CAT scan and everything on it appears normal. So no one knows what it is so we are in wait and watch mode. Everything else with her is fine, she eats, sleeps, plays (as much as they do at this age), and poops.
So I have decided either my child loves the doctors office or she is going to be one of those kids that is sick all the time and is the healthest of adults.

Ok I need advise from all you parents, aunts, uncles, etc. out there....
In the past couple of days Abby has had tons of explosive diapers, all up the back of her diaper, all poop. I was thinking her diapers were getting too small but the next size is huge on her! Any suggestions?

We had that happen with Sarah too, all we did (and sometimes it didn't help) was make sure the little leg ruffles are out and get the waist bands as tight as appears comfortable on her. The daycare always made sure the flaps were touching, I'd give her a bit more room around the waist than that cause to me it looked/felt too tight lol. Beyond that, not sure, maybe someone with some more experience can offer more.

Pretty much all you can do in that situation is either change it asap or lay her on her tummy (which most babies hate anyway). Even now Mr. Bug gets those when he's not feeling good, and in those cases, we scrape off what we can, then dump him in the tub and wash off the rest.

Explosive poop just happens. Its gross, yes. Try having her sit up in a bouncy chair or swing a bit more. Gravity will pull it down, and the leg gathers are much better at keeping it in than the waistband. But like RDT said, just change it as soon as you notice. If she has sensitive skin, you can use a washcloth and water to clean off the really icky ones. Too much wiping with wipes can irritate their tender parts.
