so did you guys do the toy shopping? I picked up some Legos at Wal-Mart...all of the EpII figures were gone, I can't believe it. Just the other day there were about 30 figures there, and now EVERYTHING was gone except for a few goofy looking 12" dolls. So I bought an AT-ST (sitting here on my desk at work...just put it together actually lol) and the Ewok Attack thing, which pretty much sucked except for the speeder bike I'm looking to get the huge Tie Interceptor, I'm hooked on Legos now, these things look so cool lol

hay I just want to take a minute to thank all of you . I had a great time. I didnt want to leave, I was excited to meet every last one of you. sorry I didnt talk much, I will try to keep up the role of chunk better at the next meeting.
I feel like a real part of your group, I dont just look like a nerd I'm part of the club so I'm official.

I have to agree with Chunk (did that just come from my keyboard?). I had a great time meeting everyone, i've tried lots of fan groups over the years, and a couple of offline meetings of online groups, and i'd have to say this was the best experience so far. I admit I had a little trepidation before the meeting, but I thought everyone was really cool.

That meeting was very cool!!!! Sorry 'bout starting it early, JD, but it was to get everyone on board at least once. Still, it lasted three hours, and it seemed to not really want to end, which is always a good sign! We got one digital group pic, and one standard, so we'll try to get those on the site somewhere, and I'm putting together the Kempe release(for the May12th premier showing), so that will be there very soon, too. As I noted in the meeting, tiks are on sale through Kempe now, and will go for about $225 and up depending on the donation. The event will be catered, the crowd subdivided into coloured lanyard sections, and our main job will be to help separate everyone, entertain like crazy, and hold a costume contest...ya gotta love it....no sweepin' duties, JGoC!!! Kempe and sponsors will be giving away gifts, and we may be personally doing that on their behalf. Remember, if you are coming in costume, I need pics of the outfit(with you in it)as soon as possible for approval. LFL tee-shirts will be issued prior to the event, and I will push hard for the issuance of tees for even those going in costume. At least one TV and one radio station will be giving full coverage to this event, so look good, be sharp, get your character bio's/SW knowledge in order, and let's show that crowd why we are Denver's StarWars FanForce!!!!
