Oh, I'm waiting to hear on the 4 jobs I applied for, one was about 7 weeks ago, and the others were about a month ago. that's the government. I hate waiting for that, because almost every day I'm in the office, 2 or 3 people ask me "have you heard anything yet?" It means a significant pay raise, plus a break from the menial drudgery I'm doing now. 
I'm also waiting on LFL and Turner to see if I'm accpeted for a marketing event in New Orleans --we'd fly out in 12 days or so. It would be nice to know if I'm going or not.
And I'm waiting on a DC-15 long (blaster) that is being shipped to me, so I can get it ready to troop with for said event. I'm really looking forward to seeing this new product. It's from a new mold, and they've made some serious improvements compared to the old stuff, so I want to see just how nice it is. 
Then once I know IF I'm going to the event, then I can find out what their shipping/baggage size requirments are, so I can get the appropriate plastic tote to carry my armor. The chest/back armor on a clone is bigger than a TK, and won't fit in my current black plastic totes that I have. So I need to find a tote that will fit the armor and yet still *hopefully* work within airline size requirments without having to pay extra.
And I have to get off my lazy arse and apply for my summer internship. I want it, but just don't want to go through the process. Silly, isn't it? 
... oh yeah, and I'm waiting for a sleep apnia test I'm taking next week. I'm ready to get my Darth Vader forced air breathing machine if it means finally getting a restful night's sleep.  
Most of it is just impatience, compounded by a lack of tune-age.

Well, the DC-15 came in yesterday --yay!
But I found out today that I did not make the BQL (Best Qualified List) for the first job I applied for.  I inquired about the other 3. If I am denied those... I am not going to be happy. They are in my own department, and are the natural progression for my position.

They are working on the parking lot the last two days here at work... they chop up, set on FRAKKIN' FIRE a section, then lay some more asphalt, press it and move on to the next section.
I've now got a sore throat, and I'm hacking... AGAIN!!!
ETA: And now the ****ers have moved to the side of the parking lot they DIDN'T tell us to clear out of, and they're SMOKING MY DAMN CAR!!!!!!!!

Yeah, but if he actually did his job, the actual safety of everyone would decline logarithmically, forcing the company to promote him to Senior Vice-President of Safety, where he can do no harm.
It's either that or he's being "hands on" (like Manos: Hands of Fate) and involved and doesn't have time to do his work.
