I believe a lot of the controversy comes in the sense that even though it's a low-level x-ray(or whatever) and they can see under your clothes, the view goes no further so it is basically a virtual strip search, and I thought this was going to be implemented there for testing last year... guess they got delayed.

It's a huge invasion in privacy. TSA knows it is, so much that they do not even have the screeners on site, and they claim that they do not save the pictures.

I don't know about anyone else, but my bathing suit counts as a shape-altering-device to enhance certain areas, and minimize others.
I think all womens bathing suits are pretty much like that. at least the ones for people like me who should not be permitted to wear bikinis.

Okay... Now that I have seen what it is... WTH!
If it removes all of your clothing and only bounces off of skin, than what are they searching for? They should be looking for items NOT part of the body. Wouldn't it make more sense to have a machine that bounces waves off of INANIMATE objects on the person?!?!?!
Regardless of the invasion of privacy issues... IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE AND WON'T STOP ANYONE FROM CARRYING STUFF ON PLANES!!!

This morning, my 24" widescreen CRT monitor crapped out on me. I turned it on and something inside short-circuited. 
The Sony GDM-FW900 was just about the best monitor ever made. A classic. A $2,000 16:9 monitor built in the days before LCD TVs and plasma screens were commonplace. The color in a monitor like this even puts today's Apple cinema displays to shame. And I've lost her. 
Now I'm forced to use my old crappy 19" SyncMaster. 
I did buy an extended warranty for it though, so we'll see what Square Trade will do about it.

I am trying to save my foot a bit and i was going to take the bus in this morning. i got there 5 mins early and there goes the bus...*rolleyes* not that RTD cares, but i would love to write them.
I made it here in 10 mins...hoofing down colfax. BUT the good news is i got some exercise and my foot didn't end up hurting. yea!

I have had horrible nightmares for the last three nights.
Its like I go to sleep, have a nightmare, wake up, cry, and fall back asleep. repeat process. I don't think I got more than two hours of continuous sleep all night.
