well thankfully I'm signed up for a training in Denver on the 18th of july, so I can't be on call that day anyway - so I'm hoping I can trade. Also, I put in for the clone wars release date before the on call schedule was put up for august, so I've taken the day off and can hopefully switch.

I get in trouble with building maint. for where my mini trashcan is placed due to "fire safety concerns" yet they can completely block the access to the stairwell while working on projects and get pissy with me for using the stairs and trying to get thru their project instead of taking the elevator?!?!?!?!

 Users....
Even when I created examples for them to copy and told them exactly what to do... they changed it completely, the lady claimed she never even saw my original email when she replied to it!!!! They say it makes more sense to them to do it this way, well I'm sorry but from a database and future growth perspective it doesn't, heck even currently it doesn't cause you make your users go all the way to a bottom individual category in a store rather than have the items in the top category and just link all the related items together...
This shouldn't be that hard of a concept... why is this so hard... the worst part.. one of the people I'm trying to get this done with.. is my Mom.. and she told the main user to do something else that completely changed my example and fouled things up, then when I told her not to have her do that, she phrased it differently to her and now I have an email from the other user asking for clarification.
So again...

If you get lucky they last that long, my mom had one for 5 years I had one for 3, the longest lasting of the ones we had in the new house made it.. 6 months but the average is really around 1 month. The other... 5 bettas we'd had all died somewhere between 2 and 6 weeks.

I had 12 of them with me for 3 years
Rasputin the Mad Betta, Tchaichovsky, Beethhoven, Mozart, Chopin, Handel, Sebastian, Verdi, Puccini, Strauss, Vlad the Impaler, & Itzak
Sadly, they were all destroyed when they became acquainted with my mother's cat after escaping the Annoying 8. Rasputin made it for a couple of days after the attack, but sadly didn't have has many lives as his predecessor.
