Tim and Leviathan are doing quite well. Tim likes his new glass vase better than the cut crystal one he lived in before as he can see Leviathan better this way. I scrub their vases once a week, add water conditioner, feed them a couple pellets of food each per day and they are doing just fine=)
Although Leviathan is a ravenous beast. Tim tries to burrow in the glass pebbles.

Ok. thanks for the tips...i am going to try ONE more...i have gone through bono and the edge...i guess this one will be larry or adam depending on what he looks like.
I have a plastic tank...do you think i should switch to a glass bowl?

we have a 2 gallon plastic tank with a lid and a filter, and even though there are also 2 zebra fish in with her, our female beta has lived for quite a while. Add in that she only gets fed whenever I remind the ewok or do it myself, it's pretty amazing ;D

ok well i will get a new one on monday then...i will bring my tank and such to work...that is why i got him in the first place was to have at the office.
I was begining to have a zoo at home..two cats and a fish...hehehe. i am sure there are some mice somewhere too...but they don't stand a chance with the two kitties.

HVAC in our building isn't working properly (as opposed to earlier when it wasn't working at all)
needless to say it is a wee bit hot in the building
my clothes are sticking to my skin and I have sweat dripping down uncomfortable places
but we aren't supposed to say we have sweaty cracks

My allergies are so awful, my head feels like a balloon. I am wondering if I might have bit off more than I can chew with my kitty. In the past I have always adjusted to the cat eventually. Seriously, I feel awful. I have used the dander wipes on her...any other suggestions? Please help, my kid and I luv this cat.

Deal with it? It's not the cats fault or your child's that you got a cat & knew you had allergies
Keep the cat away from your face, wash your hands after petting or holding it, don't touch your face until you do, keep it off your pillows or sheets, try putting a kitty blanket over that part of your bed that you remove at night & put it to the end of the bed for the kitty so it sleeps there.
We can tell Simon to go to his bed when we get tired of him on ours, and he does it most of the time/??

I know its not the cat's fault, and the last thing in the world I want is to have to give it away. In the past I have always adjusted to the allergy...I am not sure why thats not happening this time.
Does anybody have one of those air filtration fans? Does it really work? I looked at WalMart today, but none of their fans said JackSquat about any kind of filtration system.

Instead of using the dander wipes, try getting the dander shampoo. Might help better.
Also Zrytec, which is now OTC, worked great on my allergies. You might try that, and give your body a bit of a break.

I have a cheap one, not sure how well it works, it's dirty when I clean it but I still have tons of dust & hair everywhere.
You would have to spend some good dough to get one that would help what you have going on.

I have been taking a generic decongestant for allergies...wal-phed? I am gonna try some OTC Claritin and see how that helps.
