thanks for the welcome,I hope to be able to contribute something interesting here. I've been reading through some of the older posts and it seems like you have a lot of fun here. I've been working on a costume (an blend of Jedi and Mandorlian- a character i've been working with in a fan fic) that i'm hoping to have done for halloween. Just thought it would be fun to talk to people who share interests.

there's to be some armor, i just haven't decided; i know there'll be some form of arm protection, maybe something shoulder to wrist. I have the lightsaber already, and some of the ornamentation. I'm not set on wether or not there'll be a helmet of some kind.

I did have a look at the pics, I wish I could have gone to the show, but was stuck at work. Looks like i missed a good time. The costume will be a little bit; I just ordered my armor the other day so there will be some work to do on painting and I'll have to find an undervest that doesn't run a fortune to attach them too. I think i'll forgo the helmet for the time being (i can always get one later and turn one costume into 2)
