Hi y'all!
Hope some of you are making plans to come to B'Ham for Omega Con in March? Cathy B. of Matters of the Force, that we've all enjoyed for years at Dragon Con, is bringing her MOTF programming to OC, and the con is already growing so fast it moved out of one smaller hotel and into the convention-center Sheraton hotel downtown.
It is a 24 hour con and we're going to need more ideas to fill panels for the SW track. Perhaps something Fan Force-oriented, like how to start a club/FF in your own area? Any ideas, contributions, volunteers, costumers, etc, would be greatly appreciated so please spread the word.
And by the way, if you'd like to set up a FF table for ESB, or join yours with/next to ours (we now have FF status also), lets shoot some ideas around. I'm in charge of fan tables at the con, so just shoot me an email from the con's website.
The promoters are really wanting this to be a fan-friendly con, and they really do listen a lot, so any ideas or contributions for what you'd like to make a con fun, please share!
