I agree, -Tenel-Ka-, they do sound cool. I just wish they weren't shoehorned in like they were in the last book.

Instead, they should've written a YJK v2 that centers around a normal Ben, whose mother is still alive, and a simultaneous JJK thing with Allana attending the Jedi Academy using her real name.

Umm... no.... I would never read a star wars book again, god forbid watch the movies.... They should jsut cut out TK, the whole Jacen goin dark is actualy kinda cool, so far in lotf TK is only good for being a padme clone and thinks that every single thing Jacen does is so PERFECT, gimmie a break, what an amputee... Its like she just got soooo weak.
Besides YJK wasnt really good.... NJO was the best.
And striker I agree with you on everythin accept gettin rid of NJO, that was the best series. However DN and LotF were a waste of time and money, YJK may have been good, but really it was kinda boring (accept for the A/T stuff) and pointless to read, you could go on without reading it.

Ah... there was no A/T in the YJK. That was in the JJK. And get rid of the YJK?  That awesome book series got me into SW to begin with. The NJO butchered everyone, metaphorically and sometimes literally.
And without the YJK, we wouldn't have Tenel Ka to begin with. Cut out Tenel Ka?  Unlike Padme, she didn't die.

Dont cut out YJK, just dont make anymore like it. And no Tenel Ka?
Now your just making the idea ok YJK better. and I meant JJK. JJK and NJO in my opinion are the best SW series. And thats the only difference between padme and tk, and who knows? theres a fair chance she could die,(crosses fingers).
Dont take this the wrong way, its just my opinion, which means nothin to the authors...

I think that the idea of extra-galactic invaders was pretty interesting, but that in the end the Yuuzhan Vong didn't exactly work. They were a bit too extreme; and they were made to be "unlikable," so to speak, and the way it worked out in the end was just too... hard for me to believe. I don't hate the NJO, but I wouldn't call it one of the best series.
I rather liked the YJK series; it was a little hard reading at some patches just because of the style, for me anyway, and sometimes I think that the kids acted younger than their supposed ages - and yet were able to pull off some things that they shouldn't really have been able to - but overall, it was good. It introduced new characters and backgrounds, made us connected to them - or made us dislike them, for some of us, I suppose. But still, its better than with some of the younger generation nowadays, like Jysella Horn - who actually isn't so young anymore - who I really want to love but know virtually nothing about canonically.
Speaking of the YJK, were you surprised that Ta'a Chume abdicated? I just see that as completely out of character for her. Why do you think she did? Other than Teneniel manipulating her, I just can't see any other plausible way.

I think they had to cut out some of the more mature stuff from teh YJK series to suit the PG rating. We don't know that TK isn't making out with Jacen behind closed doors durign teh downtime

Heh, good positive thinking there, Sil.
You know, I never did get a chance to actually finish the series because my library didn't have them all. I think the downtown branch has them (I  that branch - there's about twenty or so in my city all together - because its soooo huge) but now that we moved, I can't walk over there. Well, I could, but it'd take about five hours. And I don't know the way.
But I digress. My questions are: In which book, and under what circumstances, did Tenel Ka kiss Jacen? and did Zekk and Jaina ever kiss, too?

Tenel Ka kissed Jacen in 'The Emperor's Plague'. She initiated it, too. Jacen was saying how nothing would surprise him again and 
Meh, I've read the YJK about a dozen times through, MarasFire. The most recent about a month ago and still love it. The NJO basically wiped out the YJK, either through death, mischaracterization leading to future death, or sending them to EU limbo.
As for Ta'a Chume... maybe Teneniel scared the shavit out of her?

Drat, I can't see it. Hopefully once my computer is back up to snuff(currently there's a potential virus/worm on there that is causing all sorts of problems, so I can't use it for the time being), I can download your work. Kudos to coming up with something animated, though.
