Welcome to the EUC Forum
Welcome to the Expanded Universe Community (EUC) forum of theForce.net’s Jedi Council forums! You will find within this forum many people who are like yourself in being entertained by the great stories of the Star Wars Expanded Universe (EU). This forum, then, is the place where we all can come together as our very own EU community. It is a forum for fans of the EU to relax, show your love for the EU, become acquainted with your fellow fans, and have some fun!
This thread is designed to help new members get to know the general feeling of the forum and board system, and to provide a place where the forum-specific rules for the EUC forum can be found. If at any time you have a question about these, or problems here in the forum, please post them here or just click on one of the nicely colored links above, and you will be taken to a page to message s65horsey
Here are some links to general information that it is always handy to know:- Terms of Service - These are the general, all-encompassing rules of the 'Jedi Council'. Whenever you post on these boards, there is a link to this, and by posting, you are agreeing to these guidelines. They are the general guidelines from which the moderators operate under
- The Official Welcome Thread - This is a thread that contains answers to some of the more commonly asked questions.
- Banned Users Guide - Something that we hope no one ever has to use, but this thread contains information on what to do, and what not to do when you are presented with the "banned page" upon logging onto the forums. Many times it is an accident, or just a small 'warning', so please follow these recommendations, and the problem should be resolved as quickly as possible.
- EU Index and FAQ - This is the entrance to a fairly comprehensive collection of indices and questions pages for the forums in the "Beyond the Films" category. We'd recommend quite strongly having a look through this.
- Newbie Adoption Thread - A thread that exists in the Welcome New Users forum where users that are new to the boards can get the help of older forum members to get to know the ins and outs of the forums.
You will notice that our Jedi Council forum's Expanded Universe umbrella covers the following forums:
- Literature
- Authors & Artists
- Literature Review Forum
- Small Screen Star Wars

UPDATED SPOILER POLICY
As promised, the spoiler policy* for Book Releases:
1. NO SPOILERS allowed until the day of the US release, in any EUC thread.
2. Spoilers will be allowed on the day of the US release but they MUST be highlight-to-read
3. Two weeks after the book's release, spoilers will be freely allowed and need not be HTR.
4. The penalty for posting spoilers in violation of these guidelines is an immediate ban. The length will depend on the severity of the offense, but will not be less than 48 hours and will probably be more like 72 hours to a week.
*Note: This policy is EUC-specific. The Literature forum has a slightly different policy — you’ll find it here

 Um Genghis12...you're going to hurt me. But, just today I made a new thread for the Newbie Adoptions Program. It can be located here  .
