Hrm, I'm sure someone has exact ages, but I think Luke, Leia, and Mara were around 43-44. That would make Han around 53... Jaina and Jacen were 16, almost 17, I believe. Anakin was 14 or 15.
What is a 4.00 student, lexu?
4.00 is a perfect grade point average, or GPA. Bascially, it means flawless grades.
Silver_mane: Personally, I favor the Han Solo trilogy by A.C. Crispen - not to be confused with the earlier Han Solo Adventures. The two compliment each other, to be honest, but the Crispen books will give you a fuller idea of Han's past, whereas the Han Solo Adventures are some select tales from Han's colorful past.  They're both early in the timeline, though, and I'd recommend them to everyone who's new to the EU. There's no pre-reading needed to understand them.

Well, I just got started into the EU. I finished (rather quickly) the Thrawn Trilogy, and I'm now reading the Hand of Thrawn Dualogy. Also picked up the first X-Wing/Rouge Squadron book and the Dark Apprentice-Champions of the Force trilogy (don't remember all the book titles off hand). I figure when I'm done with those, I'll keep on with the X-Wing series (if it's interesting) and also start into the Clone Wars novels.
Anyone got any cool suggestions for other EU materials and cool EU threads I should be made aware of to get started off here?

To be a Newbie in the ways of Force.net, confusing it is. But, I'm not exactly new to chat forums, just trying to get used to this one. I thought I should give a shout out that I have arrived to this awesome place and can't wait to talk to other crazed fans of the Expanded Universe. (Love the Courtship of Princess Leia, Thrawn trilogy and duologys and The New Jedi Order series. Just read Dark Nest I, thrilled I don't have to wait so long for Dark Nest II) Anyways, peace, love and galatic plundering to all rebels and Imperials. May the force be with you!

Welcome, guys! We have a couple of casual social threads if you're interested in meeting and chatting with some other forum regulars. We also have tons of character-specific fan clubs that might be worth checking out. Most of these can be found in the index thread-- or just poke around the forum and see what you find.

Spoiler discussion is not permitted in EUC threads. Posting "highlight to read" text or a warning is not sufficient. Linking to 3SA threads will be allowed, provided the link is clearly labeled.
He says we're not allowed to have any kind of spoilers, but this doesn't seem to be enforced. Personally, I don't have a problem with spoilers if they have warnings, but I was just curious about this notice.
Regardless, a lot of people have been forgetting lately that any details about TUQ (or any new books) need spoiler warnings. Maybe we need a note at the top of the forum again?
