Hey guys, I know I "used" to be a member here, and things didn't go too well on the occasion of my leaving, but I've decided to come back, under a new character, to help out this order which is, sadly, not doing to well in members. So, start me off as an initiate if you have to, I don't care - all I care about is if there remains the same Jedi thread that I joined from its first thread, some many many years ago.
I shall not be known as Kev-Mas Colcha in here, however, instead call me Kexx Mazinn. Or just Kexx.

And, I think I am going to start up a new topic.
What do you guys think of Jedi wearing Armor on a regular basis? And not just some armor pieces here or there, but full blown body armor. Would you think it would lessen their connection to the force, or make them unable to perform certain force powers and lightsaber combat techniques? Would it give the wrong impression, making them look too militaristic?

Welcome, Kaxx. And in response, the allergy to penecillin hasn't caused me any problems-yet. Although I'm wary of taking any drugs to begin with. I've heard that taking too many antibiotics can actually weaken a person's immune system.
I have no problem with Jedi wearing armor. I'm of the 'common sense' type of guy. I've never been a fan of the robes, actually. Well, not too big a fan.
I have no idea how it could weaken their connection to the Force, either.

It's Kexx. And, yeah, I don't like the robes that much either, which is why I asked.
I mentioned the weakening connection to the Force bit, as that is how it is in many games and the official D20 RPG. Its probably just a game mechanic to keep Jedi from being all powerful though.
