i know that he's his grandson and all but i seemed to notice the resemblance between Anaking Solo and Anakin Skywalker....i'm sure it was done on purpose but i still think it's eerie....

Yeah, poor Anakin Solo did, too! He had a lot of internal struggles with it in the JJK series.

I think the two couldn't be more diffrent. Mostly because Anakin Solo was aware of the dangers and aware of what his granfather became and that is what made them so diffrent

Ohh, I have to agree - I think it got either just shy of or was the real thing. That is another hole they left - I'm worried about how DR is handling her character!
There are some excellen fan fic missing scenes and missing chapters on that very subject.

Jek, you've read my story so you know my opinion 
You get glimpses of their relationship in SbS, even if Denning didn't give us any love scenes between them. It is evident that there is more than friendship between them. They spend most of their time on the mission together.
I belive that in the gap between Rebirth and SbS, they came to an understanding that they should explore their feelings beyond friendship.

If the NJO authors don't find a way to resurrect Anakin, then I'm gonna have to use that *points at SMAC*.
Anyway, I sure as hell hope he gets brought back. I don't care whether death is permanent or not, I have a massive railgun and the will to use it, so maybe that can correct this.
