Wow, the author of amazing Bane books and great NWN post here!  What an honour!
I loved PoD, being somewhat different that other SW novels because of the storyline and if I'm not mistaken, it is the first book of the GFFA written from the point of view of a Sith, and it's also a really good source of Sith ways and philosophy. I also loved Revan's Holocron and the Lehon (finally named). Great read indeed.
Perhaps even more that with bane, I was intrigues with the Rain/Zannah character, ever since I read Macan's Jedi vs Sith for the first time. I can't wait to get my hands on the Rule of Two, which will unfortunately have to wait until I'm back in London for Uni after the holidays.

I just finished RoT and thanks, Drew, for another AWESOME read. I'm waiting for the next one 
EDIT: RoT did make me think that Bane had planned on overthrowing the Republic during his lifetime, especially with all the contacts he put in place with Qordis' money. This also leads me to think that, based on Dark Lord, something (like his death) interupts these plans until Plagieus gets them.

I'm Hoping they will continue all the books to Palpatine takin the Mantle of Dark Lord....Maybe then they can go back and start with the FIRST sith Lords.........I know High Hopes.

Hey, it's me again.
Just a little update to let you know Rule of Two is now out (in case you forgot from my earlier post...). The Bane sequel is in it's second week on the NY Times bestseller list, so thanks to everyone who bought the book.
Also, I've posted a new blog entry talking in detail about fan reaction to the novel, and my thoughts on your... uh... thoughts.

Okay, I finally got a copy of this little gem, and I'll admit I was filled with a lot of the fandom's opinion of PoD, which even then I disagreed with in majority. It initially spoiled the book, until Bane really showed off with a bunch of mercs. Zannah subtly saving Davorit worked wonders, and there we had our intrigue, from the off.
Without delving into spoilers, I loved how it filled out more of the New Sith Wars, the Ruusan Reformation, and Sith Holocrons. The ending was incredibly surprising, and even I thought the worst before seeing the twist.
An impressive read, to say the least. Thumbs up to Drew!

Well i dont know about you Jada, but i would like to think i am.
I loved how Drew had Zannah using Form III Soresu as her saber form. Im sure that was unpredictable to alot of people. It's best known for Jedi using it than Sith.

personally i think darth bane is the best anti hero ever. If you had a fight between darth bane and darth vader darth bane would have obliterated darth vader.
