Here is Part 1 of my EUC Fanfic. Enjoy.
The Hunt Begins.
Bob put away his synthesizer as Twin Storms finished their practicing for the evening. He watched the other members leave the building as they went off to their homes. The Church of Waru, The New Jedi Order Headquarters, The Imperial Knights Headquarters; where ever they felt most at home. But he wasn’t sure where he wanted to spend the night so he decided to wander and just stay where he ended up. He tipped his head to Ben Kenobi as he left the building, walking out into the streets of EUC City.
The first thing Bob noticed when he walked down the street was all the billboards for Chancellor candidates. He shook his head as flyers littered the street; he pitied who ever would have to clean this mess up. As he walked by the Mod Headquarters he got a evil glance from Mr. 44. He had apparently still not gotten over Bob stealing his gun from him when he was suspended. Not discouraged, Bob walked on until he came to the New Jedi Order Headquarters. The side of the building was still being rebuilt after Adalia-Durron lost control at a temporary change of leadership in the firm. He walked in and saw Sabre and Darth Vercetti playfully taunting Addie whose face was growing redder and who started looking for her fairy dust. He looked up and saw Neila directing her Chiss troops to help rebuild the building.
Satisfied that Neila and her Chiss could get the job done without him, he walked over to the Imperial Knights Headquarters. He decided it was time to look for his apprentice, Lord Vivec. He had given him his latest task a week ago and had not heard of him since then. Something was definitely up. After giving the building a cursory look over he came up empty and decided to ask for help. He walked up to Sey, his own Master when he first became an Imperial Knight, and explained his problem. “I’m afraid something might have gone wrong.”
Sey laid her hand on his shoulder and consoled him, “I’m sure he is okay. New Masters always get the jitters with their first apprentice.”
As the words escaped her mouth Rhi came running into the entrance hall shouting, “Chancellor Sinre has been attacked! Our Emperor is hurt!”
Everyone ran into Sinre’s chamber and Bob kneeled down next to the Chancellor, a lump growing on the side of the Chancellor's head. “What happed?”
Sinre struggled to sit up but couldn’t manage it. Laying back down he explained, “I came in and found Vivec reading the ancient texts. I asked him what he was doing and he turned and attacked me. I didn’t expect it and he caught me by surprise. He said something about immense power.” With that he slipped back into unconsciousness, the other Knights picking him up and rushing him to the hospital. He would be okay but he still needed to be looked at by a medic.
Bob turned back to Sey and saw worry in her eyes, she was close to Sinre and he could see what she was feeling. “Still thinking it was just jitters.”

Nice piece, Bob, I liked how it reflected real EU events, and other Fanfics.
I like being referred to as Chancellor and Emperor.

Tales of EUC City: The Hall of Treasures
Bob stood next to the Chancellor’s hospital bed as he woke up. Sey stood in the corner of the room, relief obvious on her face.
“What’s the update, Bob?”
He sat down on the chair next to Sinre’s bed and explained the situation. “Mr. 44 has pledged the support of the Mods. But they are swamped enough just trying to calm the public. In fact just yesterday, Rogue Wookiee died trying to crowd surf a riot. Of course his residing spirit hasn’t been making things easier. That and the elections are hitting their peak.”
Sey stepped up to the bed. “So with the Mods hands full, we’ve decided to keep this inside the Knights, with one exception.
The door opened and a man walked in wearing a neon green blazer, sequined silver pants, and a pink cape with the words Captain Fantastic embroidered on it. “I couldn’t let the man who did this get a way could I?”
Sinre sat up in his bed. “Captain Fantastic! Will you be joining the investigation?”
“As soon as you’re up and able, we’ll be out looking for Lord Vivec. But first we need to know everything that happened in that room.”
Sinre looked up to both CF and Bob and rubbed his temple. “I don’t remember much more than what I told you. But I do remember he was whispering to himself when I walked in on him. He said something about the Hall of Treasures.”
CF stood up looking aghast, “That’s a myth! There is no such place!”
Guiding him back to his seat Bob stood up. “There is only one person who could know if that is true or not. CF, I want you to stay here with Sinre until Sey and I get back.”
Leaving the two in the room, Bob and Sey walked out in the streets. “Bob, are you thinking of who I think you are?”
“Yes.”
Not saying another word, Bob walked toward the dome he could see in the center of the town. Ever since the fiasco with Lia Fel and Thrawn, a lot of people had started distancing themselves from the Church of Waru. As their Senator, Bob had spent all last week lobbying with Sinre to give James, the prophet, a pardon.
As they approached the doors of the Church, Bob turned to Sey and stopped her. “Wait out here. I want to talk to him alone.” Opening the door, Bob walked into the Church and looked up and saw the ghost of R_W floating in the rafters. As he walked through the pews he saw Nemuro and Jawa James cleaning up after the Fruday festivals. As he stepped past the alter he dropped a donation into the collection box. Bob walked up to a door that reads “Private Chambers.” Knocking on the door Bob announces himself. “Oh Great Waru, it is your loyal servant Bob.”
“Come in please.”
Bob opened the door and walked in to see Waru relaxing on the ground. “How may I help you my child. I still feel indebted to you for getting James released.”
Bob nodded at the thanks, “It was no problem. I’d do anything to help you. But I’m here on serious business. I need to know if you know anything about the Hall of Treasures.”
Waru rolled back with surprise. “Most people consider it a myth. Why do you seek it?”
“My apprentice has gone rogue and he mentioned it before he attacked Sinre and left. I need to find him before he goes too far.”
Waru’s scales glistened as he lowered his voice, “Ah, so it is not for personal gain that you seek it, but to save the soul of another. Very well, I will tell you all I know. Years ago, in the earliest years of this city there was a man who went by the name of Genghis. He was very powerful and he had control over a great many people. But one day he disappeared and was never heard from again. He left for lands unknown but before he did, he built a Hall to keep all his spoils. Most of it is just piles of precious metals and jewels, but the most precious thing in the Hall is a colored armband. It was what gave him, his power. That is what your apprentice seeks.”
Bob listened to Waru with silent amazement. “How do I find this hall?”
Waru pulled out a cube about the size of a fist. “This will show you the way. Take it and stop your apprentice before it is too late.”

Well, it's better than how he actually died. I like how this cleaned up, and the name change was the best reason for that. What I really love, though, is the references to canon.
Curious as to what CapFan and the armband do, though...

Sinrebirth pounded around his office with that serious look on his face that he worse like most people wore suitable and giving underwear. The EU Senate's time had come- a new Chancellor was to be called in! How COULD they!? He'd worn these purple robes from the day he'd seen that delicious red text envelope his name, and he'd not washed the robes either, lest someone use no fabric conditioner and scratch his sensitive skin...
s65horsey was the forerunner in the Chancellor stakes, with Masterprenn, benkenobi15 and rhi-sparks trailing behind, kissing Twi'Lek babies heads and doing their public duty to win.
"I ROCK, PICK ME!"
The words stood tall on a large banner erected in favour of Masterprenn, it was his personal quote and didn't really need an explanation, as all the citizens of the EUC knew it. Sinrebirth grimaced just looking at it. Masterprenn would NEVER sit at the Chancellor's throne, or get special offers at Dexter's Diner, Sinrebirth would make sure of that!!!
A message beeped through his Comm, telling him that he was due to start the celebrations for the new Chancellor. How he hated this part of his job. Some of the Chancellor's jobs seemed to be getting a little taxing, especially since the last job had been, "Rancors, Safe Pets for Life", a job that ended none too well, a good chunk bitten out of the side of his purple robes.
Well, it was time for him to make his way and peace with his robes. He wondered whether the modly powers above, Mr44 and GrandAdmiralJello would let him hang onto the robes, just for a little longer. They'd understand, they had to! He found himself in the Great Hall, none of the Senator's had bothered arriving yet and probably gone to check out the scene at Waru's fan club. Sinrebirth snuggled into his chair and held on for dear life- they weren't going to get him out of the throne easily- that much he was sure of!
It was time for the votes to be tallied in the Senate, and one candidate shone like a sore thumb, or stuck out that is, as much as a sore thumb can possibly shine. Which, in retrospect, isn't actually a lot, but is more than the other candidates shone... Who, if you're interested didn't bear any resemblance to thumbs at all, really. Except of course, for their thumbs.
s65horsey- the girl of Antares Draco's dreams had made the position most only ever dream of! A grin beamed across her face and she made her way to the throne where Sinrebirth was currently sitting.
"Move."
She folded her arms in a "I told you so" way and when Sinrebirth seemed reluctant to move, motioned two burly looking Senators behind her to remove him. These two manly men were SW_Bob and EvilKingWiggins, the latter dressed in a sequiny little number bestowed upon him by GrandAdmiralJello for excellent service to the Imperial Empire.
I a moment that can only be described as rather awkward, SW_Bob and EvilKingWiggin's tipped Sinrebirth off his throne, sending him tumbling down the carpeted runway like a small child having a terrible accident down the stairs. s65horsey made herself comfortable in the seat and flashed a cheeky grin to the two Senator's who had helped her. She was due in for a dress fitting this afternoon for her robes, and she made a personal note to be stylish, though it wasn't hard when your forebearer was wearing purple tatty robes that looked a little fleabitten around the edges.
Sequins. Feathers. Perhaps a nice hat to top it all off. That seemed a perfect ensemble for a Chancellor. Now all she needed was a slogan to go with it...
