Yup. But then continuity shifts and the story becomes moot, usually. My Plagueis story was ruined by him being declared a Muun. Put me off fanfic for a bit. My SW/Firefly crossover runs politely, mind you.

I have, indeed. I'm quite stuck on where it would even be set, though. I think something in the time after Bane, would be interesting. Perhaps, after Zannah is killed by her apprentice, and that apprentice takes on another, in which case, the story becomes the issue. So, I usually rule out my own ideas, thinking about them.

There are ideas which work, however, around canon. RPF shows that quite well. Sure, I've had to retcon something once every month as of late in 128 ABY (which I am slowly writing an update for), but Fanfic can work around established canon if it is suitably vague.
Fanfic tends to radically change the galaxy around it rather than keep the status quo, I feel, which is why most of it becomes irrelevant to a degree.

I see that Darth Rogue had graced us with her dark presence. It has been sorely missed.
Sinre you wrote a SW/Firefly fic. If i had the time i would definitely read that. Firefly was one of my favorite Sci Fi shows.

It was about the time period straight after the Serenity movie. 8 years after when LotF was to end, treating the war that Mal and Zoe fought in - the Unification War - as the war between Caedus and the rest of the galaxy, between the Alliance and the 'rebels'. Set in a post-LotF galaxy, with the galaxy in ruins.
I started writing it many months ago, when LotF started, and guessed at the deaths, so it could be proven wrong very easily. So far I've been right, but there aren't any Invincible spoilers, just guests.
The Alliance is collapsing because of what happened in Miranda, and the Parliament has called in it's most dangerous agent yet to kill the crew of the Serenity:
Luke Skywalker.
Star Wars: Serenity
Currently it's featured Ben, Luke, Jag, Jaina, Tenel Ka, Darth Krayt, the entire Serenity crew, the Agent and Badger. It has a wave of retcons at the start to explain stuff, but it's pretty popular.

A minor bump from a Council Master...
I'm considering a new weapons system for an RP I have planned. Or not planned. Either way, I'm playing with weapon systems, and I was curious as to whether you would all enjoy looking at it. I've tailored it to the DoD, mind you, and Sith in general.
