Yeah, he is worthy of the oscar for his performance alone. The licking of the lips really was what got me into the caracter. It just made him seem so psychotic.

Good to hear that about Ledger's performance. I've always been huge fan of Nicholson's rendition of the Joker, and when I first heard about TDK, I admit to having been a little suspicious.
