Howdy!
Welcome to the EUC Banner contest. From now until October 30th, you will have the option of submitting a banner in this thread. Anything you need to know about creating a banner can be found in this thread.
The Rules:
1. One banner submitted per person (If you'd like to make more than 1, the mods will accept others to be used in the EUC outside of this contest, but for the purposes of the contest only 1 can be submitted.)
2. The banner must pertain to the Expanded Universe of Star Wars. (General or Specific themed are acceptable.)
3. The rights to use the banners are given to the EUC Mods and can be used without further consent at any time.
The Awards:
The Banners will be voted upon by the community of the EUC through a PM'd vote to s65horsey.
The Banner that receives the most votes will be put up in the EUC and the user who created the banner will receive colors for a week.
The next 3-4 Banners that receive the most votes will also be used as the EUC Banner. When their Banner appears on the EUC, the person who created the banner will receive a week's worth of colors. (So somewhere down the road, you could receive colors randomly. It'll be a nice surprise!)
You will only receive colors the first time the Banner appears as the EUC banner, but the banner can be used later w/o you receiving colors again.
So get working on those EU banners and good luck to all!
EUC'rs the thread title will be changed when voting starts, but feel free to check back on this thread to see the submissions as they come in.

I dont know how to do a CSS(dont even really know what it is. I am barely profcient enough to make the picture parts of the banner.
oh well...
Maybe when I am more proficient.

I find the whole banner making business for this board to be too fiddly. The tutorial there isn't that helpful either really.

Time to break in CS3!
I think I might do a dark one... It would be cool if the rotated banners had different themes/looks. It would also be cool if we could vote for the top three banners instead of just one.
I just looked at my old banner... I forgot my name was red for like, two years.
