Fauna's blade met resistance as Amanda blocked her increased speed blows and shock flickered over her that her opponent could stop strikes so easily. The shock almost made her miss Amanda's next move as she ducked and swung her leg around. A flicker in the force alerted Fauna with enough time for her to jump a few feet backwards as the leg passed through the area where she had been standing.
Before Amanda had enough time to put her leg down, Fauna reached out and pulled upwards on the leg through the force. Her hold on the leg was broken after she'd raised it a foot, in order to knock her opponent on her back. Fauna leapt forward with her blade striking down at her opponent's chest.

Amanda fell on her back as Fauna used the Force to pull her leg upward causing her to fall on her back. She saw her opponent's purple lightsaber going torward her chest. She brought her lightsaber up to block it and as the lightsabers hit Amanda kicked up with her legs, knocking her opponent back. She then struck a series of blows at her opponent rapidly from side to side.

Feet kicked hard against her stomach, pushing her back away from Amanda. Fauna's purple blade was still out in front of her ready to deflect the strikes coming from in front of her. She swung her lightsaber around, allowing the force to guide her movements. A purple hue filled the corridor as Fauna stood her ground. Finally the blades met in a battle of strength.
Fauna pushed and found herself evenly matched. Neither side was yielding, so Fauna brought her left elbow up to smash against Amanda's nose.

Her blows were being blocked until the lightsabers were clashed. Amanda push her lightsaber to prevent Fauna's from breaking her grip. They were evenly matched. Fauna brought her left elbow up and hit her nose. Amanda stumbled back a bit, but she kept her lightsaber in front of her in case any blows from her opponent came. She regained her balance and jumped up flipping over Fauna, but instead of sending blows as she went over her head she waited until she landed and swept her foot across the floor and toward Fauna's feet aiming to knock her off balance.

Watching her elbow blow land on her opponent made her more determined to finish this duel. As her opponent stumbled backwards, she rushed forward to swipe her blade through Amanda's stomach. The blade swept through thin air as her opponent flipped over the top of her again. She ducked slightly and brought her lightsaber up to block her opponent's lightsaber, but the strikes never came. Instead she heard Amanda land.
Fauna felt her feet being hit out from underneath her, so she turned it into a controlled roll and shut her lightsaber off momentarily to complete the roll without hurting herself. At the end of her somersault she ended up back on her feet and ignited her blade again.
Reaching out with the force, she pushed her opponent. She jumped forward after Amanda and feinted a strike at her head with the lightsaber. Instead she kicked out with her left leg at her opponent's knee trying to injure her.

As she flew through the air Amanda saw Fauna go for her head with her ligthtsaber. She was about to manuvuer to avoid it but the Force warned her of her opponents move to kick her. Amanda spun in the air, and deactivating her lightsaber-placing it in her belt, barely avoiding her opponent's leg. She reached out with her hands and grabbed Fauna's leg as she landed on her feet. Amanda lifted Fauna by her leg and kicked her in the stomach letting go as she did. She used the Force to quickly retreive her lightsaber from her belt and reactivated it.

The foot that struck out at her opponent was suddenly in the hands of Amanda. Fauna felt her leg being pulled upwards, but was able to dodge the kick aimed at her stomach by concentrating in the force and hopping around to the left on her other leg. The foot was let go as she hopped, so Fauna planted it and brought her lightsaber swinging down at her opponent's knee that was now waist high next to her.

Amanda saw her opponent's lightsaber heading for her knee. She used the Force to sheild her leg preventing the lightsaber from making contact. Amanda brought her leg down and reactivated her lightsaber and sliced through the air with it from right to left aiming to disarm her opponent.

The purple blade met resistance just shy of Amanda's knee. Fauna allowed the force of the shield to propel her backwards as Amanda's blade slashed through the air where she had just been standing. Fauna brought her own lightsaber down in an attempt to pin Amanda's blade to the ground before reaching out with the force and pushing Amanda hard, differing the two momentums in an attempt to disarm her opponent.

Amanda deactivated her lightsaber, freeing it from the hold on the ground, as she was pushed back by the Force. She flipped in the air and landed on her feet. She placed her lightsaber in her belt and bowed to her opponent.
"It was a good fight," she said and waited to see who won.

The Hologram once again flickered into existence, and the Emperor, this time, looked more divided then ever. "Genin Sey, and Padawan Amanda. Both are my apprentices, one Templar, one Jedi. As such, my decision is going to be weighed down with difficulty."
"Doubly, this time there was no clear winner. Sey was not disarmed, neither was Amanda. If I was to decide who had duelled the best, Amanda showed the best use of Form, undoubtedly, using her lightsaber well - deactivating it rather than fight over it, and even forcing Sey to hop with one foot lost. At the same time, Sey won a duel of wits, elbowing Amanda in the face and pressing her opponent hard, holding her ground and rarely giving any."
The Emperor closed his eyes, pausing. "However, there was one glaring issue, in my eyes. Sey used Enhance Skill, and Speed, doubling her speed and then doubling the effectiveness of her initial speeding up. Amanda did not reflect this, and, as far as I can divine, didn't use Concentration once to dodge, though Sey, four times as fast as Amanda, did."
"Though it is commendable that Amanda typed with such injuries, that glaring problem makes it impossible for me to rule that Sey lost in terms of etiquette, role playing and duelling skills. Thus, I declare Sey won, and congratulate the Twilight Templars on their Genin's actions."

Once the Emperor's words were done the Hologram appeared, hands clasped behind his back. "This duel, was somewhat lackluster compared to the previous one. Neither opponents seemed to use a great deal of detail in their posts in relation to Lightsaber usage. Writing "attacking from side to side." is very vauge. As there are numerous methods of attacking from any single side, upwards diagonal, strait horizontal, a backhanded slash. It was this lack of detail in the Lightsaber department that made this more difficult to judge upon."
"Just as the Emperor stated, there was one major issue. Where Sey used Enhance Skill and Speed to her advantage and the fact seemed to be ignored by Amanda. As she did not use Concentration to avoid the attacks that were enhanced by such speed. So, though there was no clear winner, by fact of that one issue i Declare Sey to be the Victor in this duel."

The Sith listened to the critique of the other judges then thought about her own decision on the match. It was not as clear as the last match. Both oppponents were evenly matched, thus it made her decision hard. It felt that both participants were lacking the heart of a warrior, but again Mystique was a Sith so naturally she weighs that in.
"In this match i kept waiting for something more to happen. Im not talking a bunch of force power like the last match. It felt like they were just sparring at times and no one really getting the upper edge. Amanda especially. I was wondering what she was waiting for she had enhance neutral skill but did not use it. While Sey had used good intuition with her skills such as concentration (dodge) as well as her nice hit with her elbow in the nose. Therefore my decision is for Sey (Fauna Ti).

Knowing she had lost since 3 of the 5 judges were for Fauna, Amanda walked out of the Temple placing her hands in her pockets. Though slightly disappointed in herself she walked casually. *Perhaps the other Jedi will do better* she thought.

Hammer always preferred to deliver his decision in person. He felt it was definitely more sincere than a hologram. He heard a beep from his PDA, and the three registered judges' opinions were posted clear as day. Interesting. Dressed once more in a suit and carrying a briefcase, he stepped into the arena, adjusting his tie. To his surprise, one of the opponents had already left! Yes, he was later, but not nearly as bad as the last time. Hmmm.
"Well," he said to the one remaining warrior. "Like my fellow judges, I too am voting Sey. Again, another duel as dry as toast. You alls are killing me here with your strictly technical writing. Very disappointing.
Hammer laughed to himself. He was certainly going to become the Simon Cowell of the duel community after this.
"A number of reasons why Sey wins. She accepted more damage than Amanda. She has the slightest glimpse of introspection where Amanda had zero. And the big killer, Amanda seems to have god-moded in the following post (suspected god-mode underlined and reded):

If this was by agreement or accident, this should have been noted. Aaand, even if it somehow isn't god-moding, treading so close to it is dangerous business that should be avoided for this very reason. The difficulty of the written maneuver adds to my suspicion. Not only is the contestant spinning in air, the contestant also manages to deactivate her lightsaber, put it in her belt, and immediately grab a kick aimed at a low target, namely the knees. All and all, Sey's posts exhibited a better mastery of writing. A noble attempt by Amanda, but credit goes where credit is due."
Hammer finished, nodding his head at the duelists.
"Thats all I got. Best of luck in the next rounds."
The man turned and left for his next engagement.
