Which galactic faction would you join? (Official EU Poll #4--read first post before voting!)

Notes:
The First Empire goes from ROTS to the end of Dark Empire--it includes the régimes of Palpatine Pestage, Dangor, Isard, and Thrawn but no others.
The Second Empire (for the poll's purposes) starts from the creation of the Remnant unification of the warlords in Darksaber and goes to the Legacy comics--it includes the régimes of Daala, Pellaeon, and the Fel dynasty.
The Rebel Alliance goes from ROTS and continues to the the fall of Coruscant in SbS.
The Jedi and Sith orders, unfortunately, can't be separated into their various groups because we can only have 10 poll options.
The rest are self explanatory--Boba Fett can be considered a member of both the Mandalorians as well as the Bounty Hunters Guild.
The Smugglers Alliance, for the purposes of this poll, includes all underground movements including the Hutts.
Thrawn's Empire of the Hand will count for the Chiss Ascendancy, but his rule of the Empire counts for the First Empire.

I've gotta go with the Chiss...though I really like all of the other factions as well (except for probably the Empire).

My second choice was the Smuggler's Guild because it might be fun, but unless you're Han Solo (especially being written by Daley) the rest of the smugglers actually have a difficult time.
But I had to go with the rebel alliance.
1)It's probably the most exciting of any of the choices...forming a new government, unifying others under a cause, etc...
2)It has the most charismatic leaders..Mon Mothma, Ackbar, Leia, Bail..
3)It would be my best chance to hook up with Winter, before she met that other guy, Tycho.
4)Did I mention Winter?

Man, none of these choices appeals to me. The Rebel Alliance itself might have been good, as well as the first few years of the New Republic, but after that, it just becomes as corrupt as the Old Republic was.
The Empire (both forms) was full of idiots who had to resort to orbital bombardment to get anywhere. And even when they were led by someone competant, who could show restraint, there would be in-fighting and backstabbing, and would fail in the end.
The Mandalorians? Riiiiiight. Sending wave after wave of your own men to clog the enemy's lasers with their wreckage? Well done, Zapp.
The Jedi of old? Uber pacifists who would then go on a rampage if cornered. The Jedi of new? Wusses.
The Sith? All the in-fighting of the Empire, to the Nth degree.
Bounty Hunters? Backstabbing, little honor, idiots.
Smugglers? Unless you were Talon Karrde or Booster Terrick, and gain an air of legitimacy (gotta love government contacts), it's just not worth it.
Hapes? Being male makes that a bad time. That and in-fighting politics.
Chiss? No. Just....no.
So, I quess I'll vote for Rebel Alliance/early New Republic, if only to behold the glory of Janson.

I picked Roan Fel's Empire because that was the closest to Imperial Knights that I could find.

I picked Roan Fel's Empire as well. Probably because the Imperial Knights are the closest thing in there to Grey Jedi.
