"Scepter of the Past", found at a church fete for $3. Loved it to death.

Approximately six months later: "what, you mean there's actually a movie about these characters?"

I read the Truce at Bakura about 3 years ago before starting the Thrawn Trilogy and then basically got hooked.

I didn't start reading the EU until about 4 years ago, but the first book I read was Shadows of the Empire. It's still one of my favorite EU works. I love Vader in this book.

I first heard about the EU through the Junior Jedi Knights books, but the first one I actually read was The New Rebellion. It was the first one I saw in the library. It all went downhill from there. tongue

The first Star Wars book I read was the novelization of ANH. The first EU book was Heir to the Empire.

I read the novelization of ROTS, then I noticed in the side jacket a neat looking book with a strange alien on it, so I went out and bought Vector Prime, and ever since then I can't get enough of Star Wars, I've read all the NJO books, Dark Nest, and up to Revelation now in LOTF. Hope that answers your query. Long live Star Wars! peace

Vector Prime, then I read all the remaining NJO books in order after that. Currently re-reading NJO in preparation for LoTF.
