It doesn't, but I'm also the person who used screenshots from the hi-def version of the film even though little of that detail will be seen.

How's this one?
How much do you think Luke has progressed since RotJ in terms of force-power mastery, wisdom (either as a Jedi, or as an adult, or as a parent, or maybe all of the above), leadership, and galactic politics?
Basically I'm asking if you guys think the EU has progressed Luke as a character after George was through with him in Ep. VI?

I think the EU has progressed Luke in the way Lucas intended in some areas but not in others. Luke when they let him become unleashed(rebuilding a castle, forcing Caedus in his chair, etc.) I think that's what Lucas intended since Anakin potentially could become twice as powerful as Yoda or Palpatine. However, I don't think Lucas intended for Luke to lose as much as he does. Personality-wise I think it's another mixed bag. Lucas probably intended for Luke to remain unmarried and become an Old Ben kind of character rather than the married father he was until Sacrifice. I also don't think Lucas would have had Luke draw on the Dark Side in Dark Nest. I could see Lucas doing Dark Empire, but not at the time when Luke is in his 50s.

I put Luke at roughly Yoda levels of power now.
Maybe slightly better but I hesitate to downgrade Yoda.
FYI, what are the rules for "off-topic' posts in the EUC?
