I'm not sure how I want to see Luke go. But I'm thinking Caedus is going to kill him in the end, whether it be by sacrificing himself or by getting his butt handed to him.

I think it will be at the hand of Cadeous or he might just ascended into the Force he should be cause he is one of the most powerful jedi that ever lived.

No. In terms of sheer Force ability, Anakin (both of them, Reven, Kyp, Kyle, Leia, and Corran were all as powerful or more powerful than he was. You have to remember that people like Revan and Kyp had amazing Force potential.

And I too hope Luke dies peacefully, but it's not likely.

It's not, but at least if he does die in a battle they'll likely go for the Obi-Wan parallel.

Lets do something new to have Luke Die, Chewie had a moon thrown on him, Anakin Skywalker was destoryed in a huge death star explosion, Anakin Solo was a sun or something (Can't really remember...that's strange), so naturally the great Luke Skywalker would either become immortal, fade away like Yoda (don't really want to see), maybe just he chooses to fade away into the force to redeem Jacen or some thing. Regardless it should be a mile stone in the STW Universe

Not even close. He'd still be a jedi master. Him anouncing himself as Grand Master of the Jedi didn't make him into a sith did it? If Luke took the reigns of the galaxy I bet he would still have a senite and would make sure Lea and people he knew how to run things did the job. He would only direct the government where the force directed him....

Darth Cadeus doesn't seem to give a hoot about the force, people, or even to think lately. He could have been a great sith lord but instead his a cheap carbon copy of Darth Vader. I still like Cadeus because he can be salvaged but they need to step him up at the current level he's a weak sith.

Luke would simply be a Jedi Master who steps in to fix what's broken and would no doubt give up that power when the time came. Honestly he wouldn't want it that's what would make him the right person for the job.

To be fair, Luke became Grand Master because he thought it would make the other masters unite against him and begin to think for themselves. I suppose it's possible that he could remain a Jedi while being Chief of State given that there were numerous Jedi Chancellors in the Old Republic but, Luke ever thinking it was good idea would seem odd.

I think it would be one of those have no choice Ideas....Although I really think the jedi need to have an ambassador or at lest a member who is part of the senite to represent the jedi order. Maybe even multiple members.

They basically have that though given how often Luke met with Cal Omas. I'm sure that once Caedus is defeated and the GA is restored to it's former glory the Jedi will still consult regularly with the Chief of State.

Yes they will return to consulting but they have no vote in what happens or what should be done with the way things are run...

I don't know how large a role they should have. They're usually right, but it leads to the misperception that they're Alliance Knights rather than the independent organization they really are.

Very good point...actually it might be instrusting if Luke "Offically" forms the jedi republic or Jedi government that works hand to hand with the GA, empire, ect...
