Oh Cade thread, I have missed thee and thy antics in my bout of DRL. I can't believe they actually capitulated on the swim trunks!
I'd always just assumed he was a natural blonde. Blonde and red seem to be the trend. Although I suppose brown could show up somewhere down the line, it seems to follow the women. Then again, I don't really know a lot about the EU beyond the mainstream books, so I'd just assumed Deliah's was natural option for a Zeltron.

Jedi Trace posted: An upstanding fellow female co-worker informed me that I should not mention in public that I read comics. Guess I won't show her my pictures from Con.
I will never understand this! I learned to read by reading comic books which led to a life long passion for reading books, as well as, graphic novels!
As a former librarian, I was shocked at the way most librarians looked down on them. I mean, the kids are READING. Wasn't that our goal????
My son reads both and I'm a happy momma.

I'm surprised that the ladies here didn't protest the choice of swimwear for Cade. I figured they would want him in Speedo-style trunks instead. You know- Like these:

linky3
Heck, if I had Cade's body, I sure as hell would wear them.
Always.
Even in winter.

I think we're just feeling lucky to see as much of Cade as we've gotten. Artfully draped sheet and surfer swim-trunks. That's actually quite a lot for bare male flesh in the comics. American ones, at least.

True, although there is only so much you can show with men...after all walking around shirtless with men isn't a big deal (I know I am one)

If I had a body like that, I really wouldn't care! They make pocket warmers.

You'd have to wear them in winter. Cause shrinkage is the only way to get those things on....

Shoot, I thought they had to grease you up to get those things on!
Right now, if I had a pair, they'd have to manufactured by Goodyear. Give me about two years of working out for 2 hours a day and we'll see if I couldn't squeeze into a pair of those skivvies.

Why do I have a God-awful sense of foreshadowing for his choice of costume for Celebration 6?

Cade in a swimsuit.... hehe. Excellent idea.
Today is the release date for the new Legacy #23, but unfortunately for me, it is delayed in all of UK comic stores because of the Bank holiday on Monday. Unfair!

Bri, do not give Tim ideas! He comes up with enough all on his own! Tim, couldn't you just make Legacy puppets instead?
Traci, ignore your co-worker and wear your fangirl status with pride. She's just not cool enough to keep up, sadly. And did I ever tell you about the time LP told me how she was watching a movie where the heroine was wearing a tank top, and caught herself thinking, "Wow, she has great veins. Why can't I get patients with veins like that?"
CJM, I'm very happy to have contributed to broadening your husband's horizons.
Amon_Amarth, Oh, that's definitely not fair. It is most excellent, though. Think how happy you'll be when you get it.
Nicki, how can I help talk you into making that banner?
Re: issue #23: Aside from the bit where they confronted Rav, and Cade and Deliah's talk, and, well, kind of the whole issue , my favorite parts were Cade and Jariah sulking. They're both really cute when they sulk. Darn them.

Legacy puppets in assless chaps? Or assless swim trunks?
I take it Cade and Deliah have screen time together finally? Does she give him a boot in his backside? Or is it more of a serious talk?
Edit: And since they were brought up, I have awesome veins. No really. Whenever I donate blood or have to have it drawn for tests and such, they always kind of do a double take at how big they are and how well you can see them. Re: donating, it takes me about half as long/two thirds as long to meet my quota as the average donor.
*is special*
