Hello EUCers. In an effort to help closen the ties between the EU discussion and community aspects here at the JC (Lit and EUC, respectively), we've created events threads in either forum. Every time there's a special event in the companion forum, regulars in the other forum can be notified via this thread. Posting here is not restricted to Lit mods--Lit users can also post announcements, and EUCers are free to ask the Litizens questions about their events here as well.
Example:
EUC would advertise its official EU polls in Lit.
Lit would advertise its review threads or quote contest in EUC.
These threads will be added to the respective forum index (and possibly the headers).

RE: The official Literature Forum events thread
Well, to kick things off, I'd like to announce the
Super-Special Lit Book Review Club Thread Discussion Thingy!
As the linked thread explains, it's a monthly book club discussion thingy that will focus more on discussion and finding connections with other EU works than straight reviews.
We'll be starting with some of the older stuff to see how it holds up today, and what the expanded EU's added context adds to the stories.
We're announcing the books a month ahead of time so you have the time to reread them if you want to.
Next month is
I, Jedi
month!
So read up, guys, then show up ready to chat! I'll have some talking points ready, but am looking forward to hearing ideas from all of you too.
I'll post here again when the thread is up at the start of next month as a reminder.
