Jedi - Mara, Tenel Ka
Sith - Lumiya, Zannah, Traya, Belia Darzu. Any female Sith apart from Githany!

Very true Sinre but it should be more so in this order I think
Jedi- Mara, Dark Woman, Kenel Ka, Jacen's daughter, forgot her name has a hilt that looks like an actual swords survived order 66, Leah, Jaina, Bastilla....
Sith- Darth Traya, Lumiya, Belia Darzu, Zannah, Atris....

I can't say Sith for sure...personally, i've always thought Lumiya was a bit of a wimp *dodges tomatoes*
The ultimate female Jedi in the whole of the EU would have to be Mara Jade. There is simply no question of it.

Most hard-core Jedi - absolutely Mara. With her background as an assassin and everything else, she's just pretty much unbeatable by other female Jedi. The next ones on that list would be Tenel Ka (a good Jedi Knight and a Queen Mother) and Jaina Solo (the girl duels against Caedus...)
And the Sith - I have to say Lumiya. I don't know that much about the others and she just wouldn't give up.

Sith- Darth Traya, she had so many "WOW" moments in KOTOR 2.
