I'd suggest checking out How to Draw Comic Book Heroes and Villains, by Chris Hart, and Making Faces by 8Fish. And if you're an anime/manga fan, pick up Chris Hart's How to Draw Manga. The heores/villains book goes over things like perspective, proportion, the things that make a dynamic drawing. Making Faces focuses on facial expressions and even has a section on body language. I've always had difficulty with faces, and this book definitely puts you on the road to improvement. The manga book focuses on, obviously, the manga style. 	I actually used the How to Draw Comic Book Heroes and Villains to teach myself since 7th grade. They're very useful, but more for an extra stepping stone than anything.
