Well, even in-universe, the other characters refer to him as stiff. But that's...sort of the point. There are plenty of people in real life who are stiff.

FTR, I've never seen a serious poster sling the "cardboard" comment.
Oh, I call him Captain Cardboard all the time. I say it in a loving, teasing manner.
LOTF = awful stuff. It's what made me a hater. (Though, as a disclaimer, I still find the galaxy a very fun place to play in, and I continue loving my favorite characters, though I might loathe the situations that they are in).
You want Jag stuff? Oh, I know a user (Melissa, possibly?) wrote a song for Jag awhile back... A long (well, sort of!) while back... 
I'll go thread diving.
