Well Draco was Roan's apprentice so he probably learned a lot of stuff from Roan and his behaviour.
As for who is better writter I take Allston over Denning.
X-Wing book + Rebel Dream + Exile + Fury = good fun (Allston)
Star by Star + Inferno = good fun (Denning)

X-Wing book + Rebel Dream + Exile + Fury = good fun (Allston) I didn't like Exile that much. The only part I like was when Jag came back. And I haven't read the x-wing books. So it's just Rebel Dream + Fury.
Star by Star + Inferno = good fun (Denning) I loved Invincible and Tempest and so it's Star by Star + Inferno + Tempest + Invincible.

Hey! Long time no see.
Thanks for the info. You never can tell who the people in Legacy came from exept for Cade.
I hope in the future they tell us more!
That really is some interesting information... I'd also like to know more of Legacy characters' backgrounds. Where they came from, what their family tree looks like and how they got where they are now. But I guess, keeping those things secret allows for much more suspense and speculation. That's where our wild imaginations come to play!
When it comes to the authors, both are good and I like both of their styles. They're different but very good at their respective preferred themes. In the end, I think I'd still take an Allston book over one of Denning's. One reason for that might be that I'm more familiar with his books and have enjoyed them exceedingly (especially Enemy lines and Fury) and he writes Jag very well. Denning of course brought our man back to life in Tempest and I really loved Invincible, but that doesn't quite reach Allston's level for me.

I'm sure we will in time. But it's already been two years so I'm hoping for some big reveals coming up in Legacy in the - hopefully - not too far off future.
Yeah Antares is pretty awesome he's on my top five SW character's list.
1. Obi-Wan Kenobi
2. Jagged Fel
3. Anakin Solo
4. Marasiah Fel
5. Antares Draco
Surprising that there are only two Skywalker's on that list being as though I'm so freaking crazy about them.
And Sia has tied Leia as my favorite female SW character.
Hell has frozen over.

No worries, Connie. My husband and I were going to fly out to California for a few days because I've never been. However, the whole darn state is on fire so I decided to stay here. The Redwood forest is tops on my list of places I'd want to go and you really can't go right now, so we'll wait until some other time.

*nods* Yes Roan himself trained Antares Draco.
So I'd imagine that he's well trained.
Yeah I'll take Allston over Denning anyday and Exile and Fury were both excellent books. IMHO, LotF produced some of the best individual books in the EU....ever.
And I hope Aaron's new book is a post LotF, Jag/Jaina centered book... Because he should be the one to write Jag/Jaina's Tattooine Ghost and Survivors Quest type book.
I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday weekend.

Well Denning is also the one who killed Jaina and Jag relationship, almost killed Jag and then added Zekk as Jaina's love interest. Oh and made Jaina act like a Bug in Dark Nest.
Troy makes one good book and then few average or bad ones.

Impressive list you have there, Kick. LOL over hell freezing over.
Mine:
1. Jagged Fel, Soontir Fel, Wedge, Tycho, Wes, Han, Kyp, Luke, Pre-Vonged Jacen, Booster, Lando, Roan Fel, Antares Draco, Corran
2. Jaina, Leia, Mara Jade, Syal Fel, Iella, Mirax, Deliah Blue, Ganner Rysode, Ganner Krieg
3. Anakin Solo, Vader, Gil Pellaeon, Goran Beviin, Zekk
That's the best I can do if I had to narrow my list to the top 3.
Sorry your trip to CA did not work out. I have friends near there and I have been watching and very worried.
I'm hoping to go to the San Diego area in Jan for an event. It would be nice to see more than the inside of LAX.

I have tried to block the whole bug trilogy from my mind. ugh. Allston is one of my favorites and he will surely have some of the
pilots in the new book.

Yeah, I like the whole series but some of the nine books were really good. Fury especially. Already said that, but it's a fact I could repeat for a long time.
As for Fate of the Jedi, it would be so awesome if it was centered around J/J. Better yet, a whole series in which the main plot is how they bring the Empire and some rouge Jedi (later AKA Imperial Knights) together... That would somewhat resolve the question about the future of the Jedi Order, tell how the Empire rises again under the marvelously mastered lead of Jagged the Emperor and give us the long awaited conclusion to the all-too-tormenting love story of the Sword and her sheath.

That's too true... Those are some of the reasons his otherwise good writing plummets when compared with someone like Allston. It was simply evil!
But after bringing Jag back, I can slightly forgive him. I'm just too nice to hold a grudge...

That's certainly thorough! And why just pick a couple, they're all so brilliant in their own ways...

Ohh, I hope he tells us what happened to Tycho after the ending of Fury... That has been bothering me ever since I first read it! It would also be great to see Wedge and Gavin. And hopefully we'd get to see some more of the other Fels, too.

Also what happened to Lando?
After Fury we never hear anything about the new baby.
I hope it's a girl. But I would like to hear somthing about Lando and his family.
Maybe the next book will have something!

Tycho was alive and in the medbay on the Anakin Solo at the end of Fury. Fury was also the last mention
of Lando, he was leaving to go be with Tendra. It would be nice to catch up with them and see how Lando
takes on parenting.

I only have 127 posts so it will take some time to get two stars. But I do love the stars!
Don't you guys think we should have an Antares Draco FC? I mean lots of us here love him and I know of tons of people who like him, but we still don't have a fan club for him.

There is an Imperial Knights FC. We could crash there and gush about Antares.
Can you imagine what a cool dad Jagged will be? He would be such a great hands on dad. I can see him taking his kids to run sims and on fun trips.
I think I have too much time on my hands today.

I think about Jag and the future Fels' all the time. So don't worry you are not alone. I have got to much time on my hands too. I think your right about Jag being a good dad. The Moffs will always come after his kids. If any of them were in trouble he would be the first one there to help. Also Jaina would be there too. I am so badly waiting for them to get married! I hope if the next book is 2 years they are married and if it's less than a year I hope they are engaged.

MESSAGE FROM YOUR SENATOR:
The Senators of the EUC have been asked by the Emperor to distibute this message in hopes of getting as many participants as possible.
I believe Jello is the moderator up for review. Please if at all possible take a moment and fill this out.
GrandAdmiralJello posted: I would appreciate it if the senators distributed word of this moderator review process to their threads so that we can get a good amount of participants.
