Just figured that I had to drop in and say that, for today and the next week at least, I am Jagged Fel. Or my avatar is. Or something along those lines.
I'd love to see a short story/e-book with the Jag/Jaina wedding in it, but having it in a novel, unless something like the Mirax/Corran wedding, just doesn't seem like the best idea. Weddings can be fine, but I don't think it would necessarily work all that well.
A comic I'd take, not least for the fantastic-ness of actually having LotF-era images for people and things.

MK, you are such a sweetheart to be our Jagged for the week...or for being Jag's avatar for the week.
Like a dummy, I turned down a chance to see the movie earlier this week at a private screening before opening. Oh well, I'll be waiting on the DVD now.
I don't want a mushy wedding, not really.
Something with lots of mayhem and a bit of comedy thrown in, that would be ideal. Kidnappings, attempted murder, and things blowing up - I don't ask for much. Not really.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful Friday night!!

I turned down a chance to see a midnight showing last night. Because I'm waiting to see it with my girlfriend next weekend.
The icon goes away once I see the movie, I suspect.
Mushy wedding = epic fail.

Aww! That's sweet you waited for her. Hopefully it won't be so crowded by then too!

I agree with that. SW does not have a Harlequin-like fan base for a reason.
Luke and Mara's wedding saga wasn't all mushy, ok just a tiny bit, but it was fun. Even Talon Karrde was there
when it got a bit crazy.
There is still a lot to be said for Jag and Jaina getting hitched on the Errant Venture by Lando.

I am so freaking excited about Dark Knight. Jake and I are going to see it on Sunday.
Yeah, it can't be a normal wedding because that just wouldn't fit in with either of these two. It has to be crazy.

I am going to hate myself for not going to see that darn movie when I had a chance. We have an amazing friend
that makes it possible for us to see big movies prior to opening. My daughter should not be in crowds like that and when we get to
do it as a screening I can bring her food and drag along her IV med's and such. That makes it so much nicer than
being packed like sardines.
Very good point, Sab. A fancy, mushy wedding would not be J/J at all.

QFT. Who ever said eloping on a hangar deck somewhere, that's just made of awesome.
Though, I do agree with Keralys. A comic would be great, if just for the images.
Gah, we get what we get. And I'm honest enough to say it right now, I'll probably like it just fine just as long as perfectly manicured fingernail Jaina doesn't show up.

As long as we're talking about it, The Dark Knight is pure awesome. Saw it tonight and loved it. The Joker is awesome and, while Dent's arc is a little underplayed, it all plays out beautifully. It really is an incredible film.

Can hardly wait to see it, myself. How's the score? The snippets I've caught sound good (but it's hard to tell).

The score is incredible. The Joker's theme basically just sounds like a siren going off, and the rest is just as good as the BB score. The theme from the the trailer is the one other main theme I really noticed, and I was whistling it when I left the theater.

Hawt! Jag is sssoo Batman.
Yes, I agree that Jana/Jag eloping to a hangar would be very in character for them both, Connie. I'm just curious to see if the Grand Moff would be able to sneak away for a few days afterwards. But, hey, he's Batman.
I'm so going to see Batman tonight. My sister and I are dumping my niece and nephew at the Wierd Al Yankovich concert and then we are ssoo going to see Batman in the seventy year old theater in downtown Knoxville.
It's getting absurdly late...so I'll chime in with my review tomorrow, but everyone that I've talked to says that the movie rocks!!

A man with an Imperial uniform ought to put on a Batman mask and send us the pictures.
I might go see the new Batman movie. I don't care much for comic superheroes in general, but Batman's got to be better than Spider-man. After all, Spidey hangs out with Mary Jane.
But, um, how did we come to the conclusion that Captain Cardboard = the Dark Knight?

Kick came up with the argument that Jag = Batman. I don't know how far back it is, but I highly reccomend the reading. LOL It's very good.
