The Jag Doll has made my day!!
I stayed up until 3:45 this morning to finish Invincible. Kept trying to
read yesterday and my phone has ever rang so much. Then my son had one
crisis after another that demanded me drive him across town and back.
These people did not understand that I NEEDED to read my book.
Living on coffee and Diet Pepsi today.  Now I can go back and
read it again....but slower.

Since it's Invincible's release date, I believe it's highlight to read for the next 30 days. After that, we can post what we like. But you're right, it's about time to start the discussion....

First question: If you've read Invincible, what's your very first impression, right off the cuff?

My first impression was that I really liked it. Of course there were aspects that I wasn't happy about, but on a whole, it was great!

There was not enough Jag, I was begging for him to come to the med bay that the end.
He was too busy at the peace conference? WTK? Don't get me wrong, I do like the book. It could
have been longer but what we got was nice. I wish Jacen didn't have to die but maybe he will
visit as a force ghost. Sheuv's death was disturbing and I cannot bring myself to like Tahiri..but
I was not fond of her going into it. She makes me want to wash with Purell.nDid I mention there
was not enough Jag? I would have liked more of everything I guess.
I loved your spoils CJM, they helped me enjoy the book more. I didn't have
to flip to the end to start it.

The two big battles with Jacen and Jaina are really good IMO. I was shocked they
killed so many Mandos and Moffs. Oh! That reminds me of how funny it was when Han wanted to
blast a Moff or few at the end. Han was like "Are you just going to let me blast this guy?"
Saba's reply: "It's your choice. This one does not think it will interfere with out peace deal.
We have plenty of Moffz. Blast two." She is so cool.
I loved Tenel Ka's cousins. I guess my mind was in the gutter because I was hoping
for Zekk to score with the twins. It was a wake up for Jaina when he was thinking of Taryn
One more part that made me *gasp* Like the little brother it was named for, the Anakin Solo
hung in the shadow of the mighty Megador. Knowing they were going into battle that gave me a chill.

BLASPHEMY...which I commit on a regular basis. Or at least I did until I started hanging out over on Lit. Now I just spoil myself shamelessly. And attempt to reason with the loonies...
