	Hey hey , was hoping I could join up in this fan club. Been a big fan of Jacen since I first read some of the older books, and then the YJK series. I thought Remnant was pretty good, although ya there were a few things that I had to gripe about (mainly just the flow of the story, which wasn't bad, just kind of seemed a bit rushed in parts to me). I also was confused as to wheather or not Jacen had a beard, lol, however I think he probably shaved it off? Traitor cover ruled, wish we had the Japanese covers over here :\. -----signature----- My pen wouldn't write on the screen shrug "I believe all problems can be solved with a blowtorch, a spatula, and 3 rolls of ductape" - Best friend before his botched attempt to make an X-Wing

	Well, it's not exactly a plague, more like a really itchy fungal infection...er, nevermind... Ewwww....yeah, let's not mention it. whispers is it athlete's foot? [spoiler space...in Germany, this is expensive.] 1. In the scene where in he visits Tahiri in the hospital he leaves her a note and his handwriting is described as neat and confident, does this fit with what you imagined Jacen's handwriting being like? I guess it works, but it's a place where he is different from me. My handwriting is messy and gives away all of my insecurities. Actually, I was surprise to hear that Jacen could write period. I mean, don't they usually use data pads? A lot of people today use computers so much to writer (er, type) that they can't write well at all. I imagine his handwriting was only neat because he was reproducing the GFFA alphabet from how it looks typed. 2. Before that, when Jacen is doing whatever he did to make Tahiri go to sleep it says that "In the shadow of [Jacen's] hand, she smelled Anakin..." Maybe they have the same cologne.... [End spoiler space...] Danni, you've raised a very important question that I definitely think should have been addressed earlier: Jacen's beard. Hate it? Love it? reporter mode What do you think? Personally, I dislike it. There are only a few people who are aloud to wear beards and they are: Jesus, Santa Claus, and Commander Reiker (baby face Reiker just didn't look right). Any one else had better reach for the razor. Oh come on, Danni's growing on you, isn't she? By the end of the Force Heretic trilogy you'll all want to join the Danni Quee Fan Club, right? looks sick to her stomach Okay, no chance, I know. But it's one of the little delusions that makes me happy, so please humor me. Uhhh...I don't know if I have that much humor Actually, Danni Quee, we agree on two things: We both like Bob Dylan and Douglas Adams. Yay! 	Also, I thought that was a really nice note "You will always be family to us" and I was a bit disappointed that Tahiri ripped it up and threw it away. I would have saved it. I have to admit liking Danni much more now than I did when Vector Prime came out. Who knows what the future may bring? I got a big kick out of number 3. I think the Force Heretic authors decided that Jacen had shaved his beard at some point after Destiny's Way but before their novel. Personally, I just don't Jacen as a beard-type guy. It reminds me of Obi-Wan in AOTC....maybe that's the point? For the reader to make a connection between Jacen and Obi-Wan? I think the Force Heretic authors decided that Jacen had shaved his beard at some point after Destiny's Way but before their novel. 	Well, this place has gotten more lively now. And it's all thanks to my great post! Or maybe not. But I'm glad my post got some discussion going. 1. Interesting suggestions JJS and Geist. I think Tahiri immediately recognized his handwriting suggesting people do actually write stuff out occasionally in the GFFA. Maybe they don't have enough datapads to leave them around for every little note...I don't know. 2. Again, interesting ideas. But I stand by my "Ewwwww! That's creepy." I guess the truth is I didn't really want to read about how Anakin, or even Jacen, smelled. Of course, I didn't mind reading about how Danni smelled, so I have a total double standard here. 3. I'm glad you got a big kick out of this, Lady_Jedi_Carenix. I hoped it would be pretty amusing. For the rest of the day I wrote it I kept laughing at "Never stop asking questions about facial hair, Jacen." Yeah...I need to get a life. JJS, I was just wondering, what you agreed about in #3? Well, I was really hoping he'd keep it so then the next time I wanted to say something that would strike someone really weird, I could yell out "I like Jacen Solo and his beard!" (Okay, everyone who can name the Bob Dylan song that that line is a silly parody of/reference to wins...uh, my respect for their musical knowledge and taste. Yeah, it ain't much of a prize) I kinda liked the beard because it put more of a distance between Jacen now and Jacen on the covers of some of the YJK books where he had an eerie resemblence to Jonathan Taylor Thomas. shudders Okay, really seriously, it doesn't matter to me. I'm not that good at visualizing characters anyway, so I guess the beard doesn't seem that important to me. But if that's true, why the heck did I bring it up? NaboosPrincess: Not likely.
