Tahiri was my fav character after Anakin(solo). while I've not read past NJO, from what I've herd here on the boards Tahiri's character has been butchered beyond all recognition

I wouldn't say butchered, I mean yeah it's changed, but without Anakin and with the combination of her Yuuzhan Vong mind it's no surprise she changes a lot.

Tahiri -one of my favourite female characters. She has gone through so much, it so likes Anakin in spite of the fact that has passed so much years... And still she has supported my loved Jacen when from him all have turned away.

Wow, I haven't thought about this place in a while.
Tahiri's always been an interesting character, mostly just because she's not the average character.

She's been a Tusken, a Jedi, a Yuuzhan Vong, and then something in-between, and then a Joiner, and now a Sith.
Personally I think it was pretty inevitable. There was no way Tahiri's mental stability was going to last when she moulds herself together and keeps calling herself Tahiri - Riina is incorporated, not balanced. So when the Tahiri-part becomes prominent in Inferno...the entire mess occurs again.
Which is the main reason, I feel, why she's flipping between ruthless and heartbroken in Revelation. Tahiri the Jedi's growth was cut off after Anakin died, and Riina the Yuuzhan Vong's growth was cut off when they 'melded'. They're practically the same person they were in the Force Heretic trilogy...
And I quite like it, myself. It makes Caedus all the more evil.

Personally I do not consider, that Caedus here so is guilty. First, Tahiri helped it with time Dark Nest, and secondly, in my opinion, it it to what did not force. So it was its own initiative.
