no clue what to say other than
Post here if you enjoy reading about the Chiss, if you know any hard facts and the like.
I for one like the way they are a defensive species, though they seem to be a powerful force (not that we know much about them)

Oh lovely, I've been searching for a fan club like this on the whole net!
The Chiss are simply THE BEST!!!!
Actually, there's a thing I've been pondering
lately; Since the Chiss mature much quicker than Humans (a 10 years old chíss looks lika 20 year old human) does this also mean that they have shorter life span or does the growth rate stop when they have reached adulthood? What do you think about this?

i actually had heard of that.
its interesting though and i would assume (a dangerous thing) that they slow a little. if not Thrawn would have aged a lot and from the Zahn books i got the feeling he wasnt super old, or old looking (lol)

I've read somewhere that Thrawn joined the empire a week after it's founding. By that time he must have been *at least* 10 human years. And I think that heir to the empire occurs 30 years after that. So he would be more than 80 Chiss years(!!!!) if they continue to age that fast. That's not very likely (I hope!!!)
By the way, have you read Red Sky blue Flame?

to be honest i've not even heard of it.
yeah Thrawn would have been there a while especially considering he was a Grand Admiral and it was mentioned he was in the Chiss Navy before he was banished

Red Sky blue Flame is a short story in Star Wars Gamer. It's about Jag Fel who is in a Chiss military academy. It was great, you should read it!

there was apparently an article on starwars.com referring to Chiss life but when i went to check it there was only a brief intro there.
mostly stating they are cold and calculating people.

Hey all.. Which Gamer is that story on Jag in? Chiss, hard facts: Blue Skinned, red eyes, black hair, homeworld is icier than Isard :-p, which leads me to believe they are evolved Humans. They live underneath the ice by the way...

Let's start a Roster/Officer/Squadron list, like the Defense Force's. But we will do it Chiss style. I vote ROE_Biggs be our leader, anyone wish to second this vote?

second: what's a roster/officer/squadron list??
third; where does it say that the Chiss live *under* the ice? I have never heard about that and I've read both the article in Gamer#5 and Alien Anthology...have I missed something?
