Kyle Katarn? Oh no, I dislike the style of Yuuzhan Vong in that particular comic D:
They could only say "Jeedai".
I'm still waiting for femme YV figure*

Without hair FTW when in terms of Vong.
I can't imagine them with bouffants. I imagine them more sort of... Scalped.

LOL No I can't imagine them with quiffs either, but the severe lack of hair looks good on them. Those that do have hair seem to do pretty well too though, I do think there is something aside from bouffants though
*Tries to imagine Tsavong Lah with a bouffant.....nearly dies laughing*
The NJO certainly would have been a tad more humerous if that was the case

Amy Winehouse Vong...
*giggles*
Yeah. Hair is definitely not becoming on them.
Maybe a sort of scraped back ponytail (think tribal, not Chelsea facelift!) would look alright though?

LOL, Amy Winehouse. I'd think those warriors with bad attitudes were sent to rehab to be re-educated XP
(well, she does have tattoos and erratic behavior.)
I thought coufee was a type of wig when I first read Balance Point. I wonder if they make "Groom me NOW" Tsavong Lah playsets...
Plus I have a new picture up, inspired by but not depicting Shimrra and Onimi XP

And a bald example.

I have always sketched them with the tribal-hair look, always imagined those that had hair to knot/bunch/style it that way.

They tried to make me go to rehab but the gods said 'no, no, no'

Sorry to interupt, but I always say when you have a question, go to the nearest expert, so here I am.
Question:
The first of these logos seems to be the generally accepted seal of the Yuuzhan Vong, but what is the other one?
- First Seal
- Second Seal
Also, if the sencond seal is not a mistake, do you know where I can find a better version of one?
Thanks, I figured this would keep you Yuuzhan Vong crazies busy for a while. (no offense meant of course)

I think the two seals were created out of convenience for use in the Essential guides, and don't symbolise the race as a whole (although one resembles something on Nom Anor).

There is also a third symbol if I remember rightly, it appears on the stat cards for the mini figures. The second one You have shown there is also a tattoo Nom Anor has on his forehead, but it's been widely used in various art and guides since. I have always recognized the first as the Yuuzhan Vong seal.

Oh, how I'd like to get the new minis XP
Is it common to find YV in the new packs? I don't want to end up paying $15 for a box of random figures or outrageous sums for individual figures (at least to my parental units).

you'd have a better chance if you bought three. i bought a case (12 boosters) and was able to get all four of the yuuzhan vong minis... but 2 of them i only got one... the others i got three a piece. best bet is ebay.
as for the symbols... i've always accepted the second one as the symbol of the yuuzhan vong, and figured the third (for the minis) was just made up.

I got some in the booster packs, but as JHC already said, if it is only the YV specific minis you are after, your best bet is ebay, the new ones are going extremely cheaply there at the moment, and i've found several in packs of four. I got mine from ebay because I was missing some of the uncommon ones, and only paid £2.90 including postage.

It's going to be a while until I get my hands on the new ones, unless parentals are in a good mood. There's also the "No, Virginia..." preorder from the Dresden Dolls I'm looking at XP
Stuff stuff stuff. I wonder if they will ever come out with a nesting doll warrior.
PS - I was having a phone conversation with someone from the General Grievous fanclub...we have a joint venture into character creation. Commander Voh'nn Seinheild's mother...had a bouffant. Yes, YV (that can stand for "Yes, Virginia..." too)
