I think wool (so I've been told). I have a conpendium of Yuuzhan Vong terms I made up, from the Embrace the Pain RP.
Vili (polyp)
Smirtsi (spiny thing)
Tsi'e pelenge umoi uunu (milk bearing cow, tsi'e pelenge = to bear, umoi = milk with "oi" pronounced the French way, uunu = cow/female of mammalian species)
Buru al'dorphong su'e (adorphong belly rub)
Minou (wriggly fish)
Wermu (spongium on an adorphong)
Salksi (silky hair)
Salkess (bald headed, literally "silken")
Al'Yammal salkess gounqin (a squid's bald skull)
gubrukk - to cook
yirik - to think
adirmuf - hair clip that sings
!hing (*click* + hing) - annoying sound, privelege of the elderly to use on their subordinates
spitta - One Yuuzhan Vong year, or 448 standard days/400 Yuuzhan Vong days (sorry if this conflicts with anyone else's interpretation). Each spitta is made up of 8 klekkets (56 standard days each and 50 Yuuzhan Vong days), which in turn are made of 4 kets (14 standard days each), which are made of 12.5 solar cycles. The Yuuzhan Vong calendar measures the year by klekkets because it is awkward to have only half a solar cycle in a ket-based calendar.
ket (included for another meaning) - literally "quarter"
klekket - one eighth of anything, in this case being a year, alternatively spitta'ket
klekket-han - half of anything, two ket.
arc-time - the two halves of a solar cycle between kets, a magical, suspended time
s'mila - something like one second. The Yuuzhan Vong do not have a fixed value for a s'mila, but have decimal values of solar slivers and solar cycles to measure small amounts of time.
Solar cycle/Uluu - 26.88 hours, the time Yuuzhan'tar took to orbit its sun. The Yuuzhan Vong day does not begin at midnight, but at the approximate point the sun rises (an equivalent of 6 am or 7 am)
Solar sliver/Uluu'kanko - one twentieth of 26.88 hours
Solar quarter/Uluu'ket - five solar slivers
spitta-go/first hemisphere - first half of the Yuuzhan Vong year, the "masculine" holy days, including a day 48 days into a spitta where crechelings meet their biological fathers. This is the equivalent of Father's Day.
"Communion of the Lover Gods" - The 224th & 225th days of the Yuuzhan Vong calendar, where the two hemispheres meet. Add the passing of one year and the time it takes to the next Communion and this equals 672 standard days (there are supposed to be 672 hours of a human ovulation cycle).
spitta-gan/second hemisphere - second half of the Yuuzhan vong year, the "feminine holy days, including a day 352 days into a spitta where crechelings meet their biological mothers, the equivalent of Mother's Day.

sine/seine - ten (marked so because it is the number of fingers a Yuuzhan Vong is born with)

sinekhess - fourteen
seinhleids - fifteen (a possible source for Seinheild)
sinemus - sixteen
sineverjess - seventeen
sinekletkas - eighteen
sinevens - nineteen
udelen - twenty
udelen-sine - thirty (literally twenty-ten)
handelen - fourty (literally two-twenty)
handelen-sine - fiften (literally two-twenty-ten)
yodelen - sixty (literally three-twenty)
yodelen-sine - seventy (literally three-twenty-ten)
khess'elen - eighty (four twenty)
khess'elen-sine - ninety (four-twenty-ten)
hleidelen - one hundred (literally five-twenty)
Khessel - a Yuuzhan Vong warrior name. Names are unisex. Can either mean eighty or a cliff-dwelling avian, but also sounds like Kessel, a prison planet.
Mira'al - miraq-child, a Yuuzhan Vong warrior name. Al'miraq' is a variant.
Elmira ^ Vecca qol Orelan - a conquest era opera starring the so-named warrior princess of Orelan. "^" is a stand-in for the Yuuzhan Vong "&", voiced as a click through the nostrils. A favourite of the late Skande Ahll Seinheild, a failed courtesan.

They are made out of raw, unspun merino wool fibers that are carded and then laid out into a sausage shape, you then add soap and water to them and roll them until they bind together. Several hundred rolls later, voila, you have one of those
And if you are really feeling like embracing the pain, do more than 20 at a time, it is rather irritant on the hands.

Shhhh, squid ain't the scientific name so we're safe. The Yuuzhan Vong Father's Day is a little bit different (the father is the one giving gifts), as well as the Mother's Day. It's a bit like how in Germany you're supposed to throw other people a party on your birthday. No ugly ties or severed plant anatomy, eh?

I don't have much Yuuzhan Vong news, but when I hear "Angel" by Gavin Friday (just like Gavin Darklighter), I like to replace "angel" with "space elf", a euphenism for Yuuzhan Vong. If only I could find someone in the area willing to pose as a YV rep droid XD

blue still on the fence about joining the rp. i really want to, but i'm just worried i wouldn't be able to put the time and effort into doing a good one. maybe a small role or something.
as for any yuuzhan vong news... i have heard nothing. the closest i can come is in invincible. something along the lines of han solo looking so weary he looked like a yuuzhan vong. that's what jaina was thinking. well... it could've been worse... she could have just said ****.
...that is some lame news isn't it? hahahaha.... geez... i went to a small convention here in my hometown of charlotte, nc. it was alright. i went to an hour discussion on star wars the expanding universe. i went in hoping to defend arguments against the yuuzhan vong being in star wars, but nothing was said. it had more to do with this clone wars movie coming out. well... that was my weekend.

Any part is fine with us, we aren't too stringent on the whole posting thing, once every week is alright by us - it's kind of been a mainstay with some of the posters. I can generally get online at work between jobs, so it's not too much of a problem, but I realize it's not the same for everyone 
Still, hope you can join us, we have been drawing some new interest recently so hopefully things will pick up
It's funny you mention the book reference, I thought the same thing when I read in either Inferno or Fury, that Han stated he wish Jacen had died along with Onimi - one tiny reference that made me go "OMG" for all of five seconds lol.
Alas no news this end either, it's a shame they didn't bring up the Yuuzhan Vong at your con though, infidels. They didn't bring them up at the one I went to recently either, couldn't even get my hands on some of the minis - this lack of Yuuzhan Vong-ness is worrying!
My weekend was spent at a Yuuzhie-esque wedding where I got suspended by my shoulders via large reinforced hooks again, so I would offer my services Kecen, but I do have rather large holes in my back at the moment!

I think those dreads may be useful for an Onimi costume, though. I can imagine him wearing them in rave style. Weequay were once compared to friendlier Yuuzhan Vong.
I'm currently (in addition to Darth Daytime Internment Facility) working on images for a Yuuzhan Vong themed mixtape. So far I have the lineart for the front cover and sketches for two pages. I have 30 or so songs and I have to pick which ones are noteworthy enough (bunching a few together to save time, like "The Gardener", "Nature Boy", and "Red Weed")

hah! wouldn't that be something. kecen some interesting choices for music... pretty well thought out though, i'm not sure about the whole regina spektor thing... but i guess that's where i as a dude differs. the 300 choice though is very spot on with tsavong lah. nice touch.
