Isn't Rojk on the coast?
But a Meet isn't a convention, Amon. It's just that, a Meet. Where fans get together. We don't have to all gather in one big hall, thats for sure.
But it'd be cool to spend 2 or 3 days in Zagreb, looking at stuff, and all that lark, as people normally do when visiting old cities.
Then maybe a day on the coast, on the beach in the scorching temperatures, a day in the mountains, Satan's Pass or whatever it's called.
Maybe a day in Rural Croatia, see all of the scenery out of the cities.
Or something like that.

I, like Amart, thought that it would be something like a convention. We will need a large space though. This trips you're proposing sounds great, Cobranaconda. Satan's Pass is Vražji prolaz, isn't it. Brilliant place. Have you been there?

No, Amon was showing me pictures of it. But meets tend not to be Conventions. You can have a meet at a convention, but a convention isn't a meet, if you catch my drift.
Look in this years FFE Meet thread for ideas of what happens.

So, what kind of place would we need for the Meet?

Its not just one day. You pretty much get together as a group and do stuff!
So anywhere.

It would be nice to visit Rijeka and Opatija then. Opatija is one of the fairest places in Croatia. It is enchanting. Amon's city, Pula is also very nice; about 3000 years old. Zadar, on the coast as well, is not bad either.
Where is Vražji prolaz? I've never heard of it.
And what is 'Rojk'?

Rojc, I think it's meant to be. I don't know, a place for Underground Metal Acts, I think
And an enchanting city, cool. I might finally get some much needed inspiration

Yes, Opatija is enchanting. But I doubt any of its 'enchantements' will be inspiration for a metal band.
What is your band's name, again? Sorry but I forgot.

Hard Venom
Well, Amon showed me some pictures a while back of Croatia and I looked at some pictures of Opatija last night, and lo and behold I managed to write some lyrics today after 3 months with writer's block. So I guess the enchantments were inspiring

Opatija by the sea.
If that inspired you, than you should visit Halls of Barbara Celjska, the Black Queen, in North Croatia.
Rojc is an abandoned building in Pula used for practije chambers for musicians, gathering of metalheads on weekends and rock/punk/metal concerts. It is pronunced like German word Roitz.

Heh, you had me thinking it was a city!
And Black Queen, hmm. Any relation to one Countess Bathory?

No, Opatija is a city. Well, more a town than a city. It is very close to the sea, that is one of the things that makes it so enchanting. Amon's picture is in fact an alley. Opatija is very close to my home city, so I know almost every part of it.
I found a picture of a part of the town, but it doesn't show all of its beauty very well. It is the best photo I could find, though:
Opatija
This is what the most buildings look like:
Villa Opat
You should ask amon more about the Black Queen. I know only that such a person existed, but I don't know how she got the nickname.

Nice pictures of Opatija. I've been there only once, but town is beautiful.
I haven't heard of Rojc. It must be a local thing. I've heard of a guy named Rojc. Some famous guy in history; Karlo Rojc. Amarth, does that have to do with anything?
